Dated , could be updated , not the most comfortable bed
I had warned you. The travel agency had called you to let you know about my late arrival, and supposedly the manager had said "no problem".*

She was yelling at everyone and speaking to them rudely,
employees
and customers included, including me...
I stayed calm, but other people would have reacted differently.
I remained polite and didn’t say anything, but
other people would have reacted differently to being insulted like that, literally.
I was very patient, but I could clearly see that I wasn’t the only one waiting for the smallest things. There is clearly a lack of organization in the whole team.
A lack of motivation.
She spoke to me like I was a dog, like shit.
It’s unacceptable.
She has no patience, and I had to negotiate just to get back a cable I had forgotten in my bag that was in the luggage storage.
She said, “No, you’re going to book your own taxi,” and it was so complicated just to move my 2 bags to my new
room that I absolutely had to put them in luggage storage right away.
They are illiterate and don’t even know how to write a number correctly! We agree, what is that, an 8, a 0!
But no, of course she had to yell at me, and I’m not joking, she really did yell at me, literally.
The bar hours are not clear at all, and on top of that, if it’s to get yelled at, I didn’t even try.
We’re not in the army here: no, wake up, this is a hotel where you’re supposed to welcome customers and even try to get them to buy drinks, breakfast.
Failed. I went to have my breakfasts and drinks at the bar next door.
The only and single positive point is the location near the airport.
I wasn’t even allowed to get other clothes or a toothbrush because of that rude person.
It’s a shame, there’s a nice lake, a museum nearby. There was something more interesting to do .

The hotel is located next to Lake Hood, where float-planes can be seen taking off and landing.
The restaurant, Pipers, at the hotel was very good. Great menu, delicious food, awesome staff.
They did offer a shuttle to the airport, which was close by. The exercise room was well equipped.
I did feel the price was excessive.
There wasn't an elevator, so we had to carry full sized and heavy luggage up and down. There was some staff that could help with this, so that was good.

Convenient to airport
Stayed here in August and was very disappointed. No elevator and no one to help carry 5 pieces of luggage and camera equipment up several flights of stairs. The rooms were noisy and outdated. Smelled bad. Not a friendly atmosphere. I do not recommend.
The rooms were fairly spacious, but unfortunately the overall condition of the hotel was very disappointing. There were old carpets everywhere, and the room had a strong, unpleasant smell of age and mustiness.
The hotel has no elevator, so we had to carry all our luggage up to the first floor ourselves. There was also a lot of noise from cars directly below our windows, which made the stay even less comfortable.
Considering the price of approximately $350 for just one night, it was particularly disappointing that breakfast was not even included.
The bed was also a major problem. It was only about 140 cm wide, which was extremely narrow for two people and made it very difficult to sleep comfortably.
Overall, the price is completely unjustified considering the age, condition, facilities and comfort of the accommodation. For $350 per night, I would expect a completely different standard.
Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel as a suitable place to stay.
Overpriced, but nice enough
Took an hour for the shuttle to pick us up after we traveled all day. The hotel was two stories but no elevator. The two females behind the counter offered no assistance. I had to drag two 50 pound suitcases up to the second floor. Not good after the shuttle screw up and traveling all day. We did get a 30% refund.
It was veryconvenient
Etwas rustikales Zimmer, aber dennoch gemütlich und komfortabel. Sauberkeit war auch gut. Shuttle Transfer nach Anruf im Hotel hat auch gut geklappt.
Rezeptionistin, die uns eingecheckt hat, macht nicht unbedingt ein sehr freundlichen oder motivierten Eindruck.
We left early so no breakfast. We liked the location.
The neighborhood seemed sketchy but your facility was good. I thought $331 was steep, but we’re from the Midwest.

We got an early check in at 11am for $50 fee. The restaurant (Pipers) was excellent.
The Queen bed we booked was a double. The TV signal was scrambled, couldn't watch many channels that were available. The front of hotel landscaping was non existent. Flower boxes full of weeds. The shuttle driver was burning an active bee hive next to the front door.
What a great place to overnight before or after a Tour. We booked the Alaska Railroad to Denali and overnighted before. Location is minutes away from the Airport with a free shuttle. Bar was fun to watch the seaplanes take off and land.
