Great
The property had a nice entry and welcomed you with a juice beverage served in a cocktail glass. Our room had a nice window that opens up to the street views of Paris.
The room was small and tight like most hotels in Paris. The staff was not friendly during our stay except for the young woman who walked us to our room. This hotel didn’t have a 5star luxury boutique feel. The bed was uncomfortable and everything looked and felt old in a non flattering way. The cocktail bar was only location we took photo in hotel and the drinks were not good.
Electricity problems in our room, they messed up our room service breakfast 3 times, they got my name wrong (was a completely different name) on the welcome card… a part from that the room was great and staff were friendly.

The location of the property and the hotel’s design are superb. The staff were also very good.
I booked two rooms, and one of them had two issues. First, the air conditioning was not working properly, and second, the water in the shower did not drain properly.
Our stay at Hotel Balzac was truly unforgettable, and a big part of that was the exceptional hospitality of the team.
A very special thank you to the Deputy Manager, Celine, who has been incredibly kind and caring since the very first day of our stay. After we experienced an unfortunate incident outside the hotel, she made sure to check on us, ensure we were doing well, and ask if there was anything we needed. Throughout our stay, she greeted us every day at the reception, always asking if everything was perfect, if we needed any assistance, and making sure we were happy and comfortable. Her genuine care and kindness made us feel truly welcomed and looked after.
Because of Celine, Paris will always hold a very special place in my heart, and Hotel Balzac will forever be one of my favorite memories from this trip.
I would also like to sincerely thank Enzo at the front desk. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful. He assisted us with several reservations and was always willing to help with a smile. His excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable.
In my opinion, the people are the most important part of any hotel experience, and Hotel Balzac is outstanding because of its amazing team. Celine and Enzo are simply the best.

Quaint hotel with very attentive staff. Great location. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Loved that they had filtered water refilled everyday. Looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Paris.
