Lovely hotel in excellent location
Pros:

The property is absolutely lovely, clean and the location is exceptional. We really appreciated that they provided a complimentary light breakfast in the lobby since the restaurant is closed. Irene in the breakfast area was particularly friendly, kind and helpful! The check-in staff also made it possible for our family members to have rooms right across the hall from each other despite not having booked together - a thoughtful move.

Cons:

Not a huge deal, but it was a bummer there is no restroom available to use on the ground or first floors (I imagine because the restaurant is closed currently). Both when we arrived before check-in time and dropped bags, and also left bags with concierge at check-out and our flight was in the evening - we needed to use the facilities and that was quite a production and not convenient. Also, we didn't realize when we booked the room-type we had, that a luggage rack was not available to us nor any drawers in the room. I called front desk to request a luggage rack and was informed that they are available with the next room-size-up - 20 pounds more a night. So we passed and asked for extra hangers, which they provided.

We found the location and service to be excellent. Service is excellent.

Cons:

WiFi was an issue. In order to connect you had to take your device to the lobby and connect. By the time you were back in your room it disconnected. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating.

My first time to London and the Rathbone Hotel was a large part of a wonderful experience.

Super comfy bed. Small room not an issue if you're out most of the day
Pros:

Wonderfully comfortable bed.

Cons:

The in-room toiletries were probably the worst quality I have experienced in a hotel in many years. Really weird feeling and drying on your skin.

Cons:

No hot breakfast was available when I visited. Should have told guests at time of booking or when checking in there was refurbishment to the kitchen/dining area. Not good as wanted to have a full English before going about my day and due to it being a Sunday, nothing close by was open for breakfast until later

Fantastic stay in a great location
Pros:

Fantastic location, extremely clean and friendly staff. Nice little bar for a night cap :-)

Cons:

We weren't made aware that the restaurant was undergoing refurbishment as it would have been handy for breakfast, although the hotel did lay complementary on pastries etc.
