The Portofino Hotel & Marina, a Noble House Hotel

We had an amazing time staying at the Portofino. It was a great location with gorgeous views of the harbor and ocean. We loved the Baleen restaurant for dinner and breakfast. One note, if you stay on the ocean side, be prepared to listen to the barking seals throughout your stay.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Portofino Hotel in Redondo beach for the last 3 days. What a woderful time we had. It was so relaxing. We were fortunate to have a one bedroom suite. Room was clean, and beautiful. Loved the amazing ocean views and the barking of the sea lions. It was a staycation for us, as we live nearby. Staff was friendly and extremely attentive. Great food, great atmosphere, easy beach access, nice pool. Great restaurants nearby. They are pet friendly Felt relaxed and refreshed upon my return home. Will definitely go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Portofino Hotel & Marina in Redondo Beach! From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed.

One of our favorite parts of the stay was the complimentary breakfast for two every morning at Baleen Restaurant. The food was delicious, and enjoying breakfast by the marina was such a wonderful way to start each day.

Our room had a balcony with an incredible view of the ocean and watching the beautiful sunset from there each evening was unforgettable. It was peaceful, relaxing, and one of the highlights of our trip.

The hotel’s location is perfect. The boardwalk is just a short walk away, and there’s a fun family-friendly water park nearby. We also enjoyed exploring the marina and trying several of the fresh seafood restaurants within walking distance.

The only downside was that the hotel only has one elevator, and it takes forever to open, which could be a little frustrating at times.

If you’re looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway with beautiful views, great dining, and plenty to do nearby, we highly recommend the Portofino Hotel & Marina. We can’t wait to come back!

Sehr schönes ruhiges Hotel am Meer. Das Früstück konnte im Restaurant nebenan eingenommen werden, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat.

Great location overlooking the outer harbour channel and the ocean. I enjoy seeing all the various bird life and sea lions right from my room.

Beautiful location and view!! Gregory at the front desk was so accommodating and wonderful! The room was beautiful & felt pampered. Loved the decor throughout! Our package came with everything needed for our stay and a great deal!

It’s in the Marina

Came here the night of our wedding. We were told on the phone there would be something special for us in the room, but there wasn’t when we got here. However, we mentioned it to the front desk and they put together a nice complimentary arrangement that made up for everything. The room was gorgeous and we loved the ocean view. Room service was some of the best food we’ve had! And the staff was so kind. Gregory in particular made us feel very celebrated. We will be back!

The location of the property was excellent. Everyone on the staff was not only friendly and professional but kind. We will be back.

Amazing property! Loved the Baleen Kitchen restaurant but what really sets this place apart, amazingly, is the valet staff. Shaw and Tony were just terrific and helped us above and beyond the call of duty.

My mom and I had a great time at the Portofino! Elisa made us feel welcomed immediately. We enjoyed the pool and rented paddle boards from the activity center. Tony was very helpful and kind, he had great information about the marina and area!

My wife and I recently spent a weekend at the Portofino for our 13th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect romantic staycation. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail.
When we entered our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine and champagne waiting for us, a thoughtful touch that made the celebration feel even more special and got my wife in the right mood. The room itself appeared recently updated, with a clean, modern feel and a stunning ocean view. Watching the sunset from the balcony was a highlight of our stay.

We also enjoyed brunch at Baleen, where the food was outstanding and the setting made the experience even better.

Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. It is hard to imagine a better way to celebrate our anniversary, and we are already looking forward to coming back.

Nice accomodations, professional staff and great location! We were down from Montana and felt at home. We enjoyed the hotel, barking Sea Lions and the pier.

We had an awesome stay at the Portofino! The staff was amazing especially at the front desk! My son thoroughly enjoyed talking to each and every one! He especially remembers Anna (Orosco)! Every time we went to the lobby he was looking for her specifically! She was awesome! He still talks about his stay and about Anna! Gregory and Alysse (spelling?) was also great! The little coffee shop inside was great too! They made my caramel latte taste great! The only thing I would say is the rooms are a little out of date and need a little more cleaning, but I wasn’t that worried about it! It was a great location too and a great view! Was able to walk to a lot of places and had fun at the little seaside lagoon close by. No complaints at all! I definitely think the staff made the experience amazing! Thank you for the awesome experience! Can’t wait to come back again!
