We were very pleased with the room and the rest of the staff
Pros:

Very impressive

Cons:

Pete Diaz, the front desk manage, refused to hold our bags for a few hours while we walked the town and waited for our flight (which was 7 hours later than our departure from the cruise)
We expressed our disappointment and insisted that we weren’t going to use the hotel’s amenities
We just needed him the store our bags for a couple of hours and he refused
Tim Stanton and I are Hilton honors members as well.
Also, we signed up for another stay in Myrtle beach for $300 with Teresa
And we are seriously considering canceling that stay
We are extremely disappointed and upset by the lack of support from Peter Diaz.

Great location, but needs maintenance attention
Pros:

Great location to the pier for our cruise and lots of restaurants near by. Been coming here for years, but this is the first time I didn’t feel I got a good deal. Rooms are great with the layouts. Buffet breakfast is a great plus.

Cons:

Room #417 is in need of repairs and needs some very needed maintenance. Both sinks had cracks, almost no water pressure, and the shower faucet is about to push through the wall. Management needs to pay attention to maintenance.

Overall, I had a great stay with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Pros:

What I liked most about the property was how friendly and welcoming the staff was. The breakfast was great, and I also loved that at check-in they give you a pass for 4 complimentary drinks at the bar until 6 PM — such an amazing touch!

Cons:

What I didn’t like about the property was the carpet and the smell in the room, which felt a bit like old carpet. I think using fresher aromas throughout the rooms and facility would make a big difference and help the property smell as nice as it looks.
