The location
It says it's a non-smoking area, but it isn't. Plus, there are people living here who aren't very nice. Honestly, it's not a place for kids, it's awful, and the price to go somewhere else is too high.

La atención en la recepción fue buena. La habitación se veía vieja aunque aseada.
Lo que vi en las fotos me generó una expectativa diferente pero el lugar olía mal en todas las áreas: elevador, escaleras, pasillos. No se veía limpio
Bus stop from NY in front of the hotel
Only 2 bath towels provided in the room for 2 people for 2 night stay
It was close to NYC and we can take a bus there’s not far walk
No one came and cleaned the room at all unless we asked, and when we did ask her to come back bc we were still in the room she did not speak English and was a bit rude

Comfortable and clean
Late night staff were unhelpful and rude. The daytime staff were pleasant, I checked in very late after arriving in New York at midnight. I had only cash as the reservation didn't say to pay only by credit card only which I didn't bring with me on my travels as I am usually outside the USA where cash is preferred. The night staff was rude and said we don't take cash, this was with him staying behind a glass enclosed area. It was snowing hard and I told him I had only cash and the reservation did not say credit card only for payment, he became annoyed. I was able to call my brother in Australia and put the amount on his card. It is in an area where if this hadn't been possible he would have left me there without any other option as there were no cabs or other place to go at this time of night.
Hooray for hardwood floors in the rooms! It makes the stay far more comfortable.
The shower was a little difficult to work with when it came to hot water, but eventually it worked!!
