Not good.
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

Room had extension cords all over. No cable tv. Called front desk, no response. Restaurant was closed. Valet parking has gone up $20!

Extremely dirty room with a bad smell.

Cons:

I stayed for five nights, and my room was never cleaned despite repeatedly asking the front desk. Housekeeping was never provided during my stay.

They also did not replace the towels or even the toilet paper in the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable.

Cons:

The building was hot A/C Issues all over the building. The Valet parking left my headlights on for two days. Then tried to act like it was an old battery and like they were not responsible to help me.

Superb latino style hotel close to everything in the city center
Pros:

Historic hotel right in the center of San Antonio with a nice outside pool and a superb bar. Excellent valet service.

The room never got under 77 degrees. It was like a sauna. They sent up a box fan when I said something about it but they said that's the norm.

Hot, but worth it
Pros:

We stay in this hotel everytime we come to SA. It's beautiful, with so many places to explore we can never do it all in one trip. It's in a great area with great food and fun things to do just steps away. Speaking of great food, the Tacos and Mengaritas are a must try! The valet parking is the cherry on top of a stress-free stay.

Cons:

Being historic, has it's downsides. If you're coming here for the first time I would Highly recommend bringing some sort of small fan. While it wasn't stuffy, it did get a little warm in our room. That said, it is the dead of summer and I'm assuming everyone had their ACs blasting so it probably took a toll on the output. Even still, we'll be back!

Not to book with you because it’s difficult when problems happen with room

It looks more ancient. I like the decor and its location to the Alamo was superb

Cons:

They were to refund the fee for condition after my departure. Till date no refunds have been made. We left the room in a perfect condition. I have called twice already and I am always referred to the accounts department were no response is given me on my request for the refund. This is a very bad behavior of the staff. Hotel is not only about showcasing beautiful edifice and rooms. it is also about customer care. Their customer care is very bad. if they don't refund my money, i will take them on.
