Pros:

The location was amazing, the staff were so, so friendly, extremely helpful- facilities were great!

Cons:

The room was a little smaller than expected, and unfortunately the layout wasn’t particularly practical. It felt somewhat cramped, with the available space not being used as effectively as it could have been. That said, the room was comfortable and clean overall.

Smukt indrettet og god seng.
Super hjælpsom og venlig kvindelig receptionist.

As ever, the Abbatial was a great choice.
Pros:

Its location near to the islands, views of Notre Dame from the top floors, convenient metro, lots of left bank life around is delightful. Not a ‘high end’ smart area but full of fascinating old Parisien atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff who respond to queries and needs very sympathetically. We’ve stayed here several times because it works well for us. This time our room had a walk-in shower which rates it better than the over bath variety. The rooms are serviced daily, there’s a fridge with mini bar but also space for snacks when eating out not on the agenda.

Cons:

The rooms are fine, and are provided with everything you need. The disadvantages are probably mostly to do with the sound of the Boulevard St Germain which half the rooms in the hotel overlook. SIrens of emergency vehicles often continue throughout the night even if there’s no other traffic, so this can be disruptive if you are a light sleeper.

Buen hotel, localización inmejorable, personal y servicios decepcionantes.

Ubicación y confort.

Cons:

El personal no es muy agradable. Piden muchos datos a la llegada, datos que tendrían que tener ya registrados. El check-in es larguísimo. Me pidieron mi email personal y me negué a darlo (>mala cara y comentario displicente de la recepcionista). Además, controlan much;isimo los movimientos de los clientes. Había que dejar la llave de acceso a la habitación en recepción obligatoriamente al salir del hotel!! (y luego se tardaba en recuperarla al regresar, había que pedirla). Al volver por la noche, la puerta de acceso al establecimiento estaba cerrada y habían puesto el letrero "vuelvo en 5 minutos" (!!!!!!) Pues 5 minutos que estuvimos esperando fuera por la noche cuando teníamos una habitación pagada dentro....... En fin, todo muy parisino.
