Really enjoyable stay, great hotel.
Pros:

Lovely property, rooms are quite small but have everything you need. Within walking distance to city centre. Staff were exceptional! Great facilities

Cons:

Honestly the chocolate buffet was a little disappointing.

We would definitely stay here again!
Pros:

Comfy stay, beautiful breakfast, easy to walk into town. Loved the cocoa tea and biscuit at the lobby. And loved the sauna!

Cons:

we missed the happy chocolate hour... was thinking a complimentary chocolate on the pillow would have been a great touch for a 5 star hotel.

Pros:

I asked to be moved to another room as the one I had faced south. The staff were very accommodating and shifted me that day

Just WOW
Pros:

Everything. Staff were awesome, super informative and helpful. We were even given a free room upgrade as well!! The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic, my partner and I were able to enjoy eating out for the first time in a while. There ala carte menu-fantastic. Buffet breakfast-just what you want and done right. The room itself was perfect. Pristine and well kept. Bed was really comfy and perfect to sink into after a night of eating like a king and queen.
Is now going to be mine and my partners new spot to have a night to ourselves.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like.

Pros:

EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMENBER we met in the hotel were so friendly and helpful, while we were checking in, parking our car, directing us to the right elevator when we were heading to the restaurant.

Even there was only 10 minutes, the staff member kindly suggest us to the complimentary chocolate treat and come back for the luggage later.

We have been to different hotels in different cities for annual meetings, your facility, service and work meal is the best. Same comment from our colleagues as well.

We will definitely bring my kids to your hotel when we visit Wellington.

Cons:

NONE

Flashy Hotel in Good Location
Pros:

The property was located a couple of blocks away from Cuba St which was great for restaurants etc.
It was also up a hill in a quiet residential area which was nice.
The bed was super comfy and the breakfast was good
(we chose from the menu - didn’t do the buffet).

Cons:

The room was very, very small - not at all like the photos I viewed.
I suspect that when you book via a third party you get allocated the less desirable rooms (it happens frequently).

Close to Cuba Street
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at the Mövenpick Hotel in Wellington. The location was perfect — close to Cuba Street, restaurants, and many of the city’s highlights while still feeling quiet and relaxing. The hotel was comfortable, although the room was small. Breakfast was good albeit expensive but the daily chocolate hour was a nice touch.

Cons:

Small rooms
