Fantastic boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was exceptional and we had a huge pool to share between only four rooms. The breakfast was perfectly good with nice fresh produce. Would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Het is een hele mooie serene en warme omgeving. Echt een plek waar je graag bent . Personeel super lief voor de kinderen en als ouders kom je ook helemaal tot rust bij het zwembad. Loin rock is heel heel dichtbij en personeel helpt je met alles dat je wilde ondernemen

one of the best places we have stayed. it is close to everything you need, walking distance to the Lions Rock. The accommodations are great, beautiful gardens, great pools. room we stayed in was huge and modern. the staff are fantastic! breakfast was yummy, with so much food. wish we stayed longer, would love to come back

Ho soggiornato qui con la mia famiglia, al nostro arrivo i ragazzi ci hanno fatto sentire subito ben accolti. Nonostante fossimo arrivati ben prima dell’ora del checkin, ci hanno offerto la colazione e dato gli asciugamani per la piscina, nell’attesa della nostra camera. Sono stati tutti molto disponibili e hanno cercato di soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare tutte le nostre escursioni. Colazione ottima e abbondante! Consigliatissimo!

Tout était parfait ! Personnel au petit soin et plein de bons conseils, chambre propre, calme et spacieuse, petit déjeuner excellent et piscine dans un cadre idyllique donc en résumé : foncez chez Il Frangipane les yeux fermés

Het personeel is supervriendelijk. Geen moeite is te veel. Ze geven interessante tips over de buurt en denken in alles mee. Ze hebben voor ons 2 trips geregeld aan een eerlijke prijs. Dit is echt een aanrader.

Lo primero que tengo para resaltar es la amabilidad del personal, si fuese posible le daria un 15. Las instalaciones son perfectas, tienes toalla, secador de pelo, el agua corriente tiene potencia… El desayuno estaba buenísimo y muy completo. SUPER RECOMENDABLE!! 🤍

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, sodass man keinen Straßenlärm hört. Zum Lions Rock kann man gut zu Fuß gehen. Es gibt außerdem mehrere Restaurants in der Umgebung. Der Pool liegt in einem schönen Garten, die Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Sie waren sehr bemüht um unsere Kinder. Das Frühstück war lecker und sehr üppig.

Otelin atmosferi, temizliği ve konforu çok başarılıydı. Kahvaltısı da çok güzel ve temizdi. Ayrıca resepsiyondaki genç arkadaş bize her konuda yardımcı oldu,etrafta gidebileceğimiz yerlerden, transferimize kadar herşeyimizle ilgilendi. Ona ilgisi ve güler yüzü için ayrıca teşekkür ederiz. Sigiriya'ya gelecek herkese bu güzel oteli kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!

Das il Frangipane ist mitten in Sigiriya, aber da es in einer Nebenstraße ist, ist es total ruhig dort. Die Außenanlage ist schön gepflegt. Der Pool ist sauber und inmitten der Bepflanzung schön idyllisch angelegt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück ist eine Kombination aus Sri Lankischem Frühstück und westlichen Einfluss, sowie frischem Obst, so dass jeder was findet, was ihm schmeckt. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer. Die Kinder haben sich richtig wohl gefühlt.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Delicious breakfast with ample foods. We also enjoyed 2 evening meals there that were equally delicious. The beautiful lush plantings around the pool made for a tropical feeling. It was very quiet and we had a very nice time there.

We had a fantastic stay at Il Frangipane and would happily return. We stayed in the Triple Suite, which was incredibly spacious and perfect for a family. The room was modern, beautifully designed, and featured two very comfortable beds, giving us plenty of space to relax after our days exploring Sri Lanka.

One of the highlights was the private pool, which is exclusively accessible to the four new rooms. It felt peaceful, secluded, and added a touch of luxury to our stay.

What truly made this place special, however, were the people. Raveen, the owner, was genuinely warm and attentive, always checking that everything was perfect and making us feel incredibly welcome. Narlaka and the rest of the team were equally wonderful – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel more like guests in a family home than customers in a hotel.

Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully adapted for us. The team kindly prepared modified versions of pancakes and hoppers to suit our preferences. The fresh fruit was excellent, and the smoothies were absolutely lovely – fresh, refreshing, and the perfect way to start the day.

I would definitely recommend Il Frangipane to families looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This is exactly why we love travelling in Sri Lanka – the genuine warmth and hospitality are second to none. Boutique hotels like this offer such a personal and memorable experience that you simply don’t get in larger resorts.

Thank you to Raveen, Narlaka, and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Il Frangipane to anyone visiting the area.
