Lovely hotel, close to AWM and New Parliament House, which is why we were in Canberr.
Pros:

It was very close to the Australian War Museum.

Cons:

The heating of the rooms was hard to manage, I couldn’t seem to turn it down.

Twas ok
Pros:

The room was nice. Tidy. Clean. Amd comfortable

Cons:

The chromecast didn't work. We were offered to make up for it to watch 1 movie free which I thought was pretty sub standard. The movie choices were poor. Would have been a much nicer visit if the chromecast worked and I didn't have to sit in a quiet room with no TV.

Thank you so much for a great stay, the attention to detail and helpful attitude of all the staff.
Pros:

We had a few niggling things that we wanted fixed to make our stay enjoyable. The staff were exceptional, they listen to each issue (even though we were being a bit annoying!) came up with solutions and helped us every step of the way. Even with a fully booked hotel, breakfast was stocked and seamless. We had a great stay because of this help and attitude of all the staff, highly recommend!

We would be back if we came back to Canberra in future
Pros:

The buffet breakfast was really good, my partner and I enjoyed it. Our beds and pillows were comfortable. The parking was easy and proximity to the lift was helpful. Staff were also very helpful. Happy Hour or was it Social Hour was also great. Finally, the initiative to provide a $10 voucher for forgoing housekeeping is a great idea. For us who were staying 2 nights, we didn't really need housekeeping so this was an added bonus to put towards our happy hour.

Cons:

The piping wasn't great. We can hear when water from the toilet (?) above us went down. It sounded like we were in an apartment in an older building rather than a hotel.

Good value stay, great ameneties
Pros:

I checked in close to midnight for my stay. Despite spending less than 8 hours in my room, i felt it was still good value for money, I felt safe and the amenities were top notch. Staff are receptive and polite. The breakfast was ample and comparable to a resort.

Pros:

The location is very good, as was the well appointed room. It was very clean and comfortably furnished. the staff were excellent and very attentive.

Cons:

I stayed on the ground floor and there was no phone signal available, either in the room or bar area. I understand there is the WiFi option but I'm not permitted to use this function on work phones or computers. Is there any way to boost a signal?
