I would not recommend staying at Villa Elisio & Spa.

From the moment we arrived, our experience was disappointing. Check-in was poor, with no explanation about the hotel or its facilities. Most of the staff were unfriendly, and whenever we asked for assistance, they either pretended not to understand English or simply weren’t willing to help.

The Wi-Fi did not work for almost our entire 7-day stay. We reported the issue multiple times, but instead of trying to resolve it, the staff seemed annoyed that we kept mentioning it. Nothing was done to fix the problem.

Breakfast was by far the worst I’ve experienced at a hotel. The staff were far more interested in chatting among themselves than looking after guests. The selection was extremely limited—just a few stale-looking cakes and very little else. We often had to ask for cutlery because it hadn’t been put out, and on one occasion there were ants crawling over the food. I would strongly recommend skipping breakfast altogether.

We had two consecutive bookings, but nobody informed us in advance that we would be expected to change rooms. We only found out at around 10 p.m. the night before, after raising the Wi-Fi issue yet again. We explained that we had to leave at 5 a.m. the next morning for a trip and that I am pregnant, so moving rooms would be extremely inconvenient. Despite this, the staff showed no empathy, and we had to argue before they finally agreed to let us stay in the same room.

Housekeeping was also disappointing. Although the room was cleaned, the housekeeper regularly left her own hair behind, which was unhygienic and unpleasant to find.

The one person who truly stood out was David at reception. He was attentive, professional, and always greeted us with a smile. After we raised our concerns, he arranged for us to move to a larger room, which we really appreciated. He also organised an affordable taxi to the airport for us and was consistently helpful throughout our stay.

There wasnt a single negative about this hotel.

Breakfast was good with a variety of choices however in room 303, the kettle was unsafe, did not switch off automatically when boiled. Had to take plug out of socket. Hairdryer not working. Plastic spoons not a good idea as they melted when making tea.

Le contraste entre la promotion de l'établissement et la réalité : situation dans une ruelle difficile d'accès, vieil Hôtel qui nécessiterait des rénovations, chambre d'une tristesse infinie en noir et gris, défraîchie, propreté moyenne.
Petit déjeuner dans une salle trop climatisée (frigo) et buffet très moyen, dans des locaux également défraîchis à la propreté moyenne.

A localização um pouco afastada do centro da cidade, mas atendida por transporte público.

Hot food selection at breakfast - no butter. GF croissant was not provided despite multiple requests over an hour and being told it would be ready soon and finally not available

Breakfast was very poor and basic. Not worthy of a 4 star hotel. A maximum of 1 star hotel would have better quality Breakfast.

it was in a terrible state, holes in the wall, flaking paint, tired looking, rubbish in the area that they called a wonderful garden which looked awful, nowhere to sit and have a drink, furniture stacked in boxes, main rubbish bins in the garden, black mould on the ceiling in the studio apartment, the spa consisted of a jacuzzi that was not filled and a 1 person sauna which in a single room would have been fine but a studio apartment…. They then had the audacity to say to booking dot com that we hadn’t arrived, so would like to see how they explain the pictures.

alla reception la signorina , senza troppo infierire, sembrava andare al rallentatore per dire cose semplici ci metteva 1 ora, ed ho sia per check in che per check out atteso una vita... meglio il collega ma il giudizio generale e' basso.
Molti molti rumori notturni che impediscono di dormire in pace questo a reso la mia esperienza negativa.
