Room was nice, as was pool.
Coffee bar was the most disappointing. Coffee was weak (looked like tea when poured) and the complementary muffins were laughable. For the price of the lodging, the coffee and muffins area seemed very low effort. Front desk stated they would text when room was ready (we forgot to request de-feathering) and we ended up have to call the front desk after over an hour to see if it was ready. We’re able to relax at pool with friends while waiting.

Loved our Father’s Day visit to La Piscina, Gabby was great and attentive, food was flavorful, crepes were amazing - and a show stopper with a flambé. Loved decor and ambiance too. Stephen was super prompt and attentive with the valet - overall a great experience!
Valet service was superb. We ate at the excellent restaurant inside the hotel lobby, and had our car back quickly after dinner.

She is always courteous, attentive, and goes above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. Her positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help never go unnoticed. She is a wonderful representative of the team and makes every visit a pleasant one. Thank you for the excellent service.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Austin Proper Hotel. The service was impeccable. The valets, wait staff, and house keeping were all professional and courteous.
Our room was organized, comfortable, and very clean. We woke up rested and ready for the day.
During our stay we enjoyed a delicious Mediterranean dinner at The Peacock. The staff went out their way to interact with my 3 year old granddaughter. We also went to afternoon tea at Goldie’s. My granddaughter loved it!

My wife and I stayed at Austin Proper to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we had an incredible experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, but what really stood out was the level of service.
Every staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and attentive. We were greeted by name during our meals at the restaurants, which made the stay feel personal and memorable. The team also went above and beyond by helping us celebrate with complimentary glasses of champagne at Kappo Kappo and during Goldie’s afternoon tea.
From the restaurants to the hotel staff, every interaction came with a genuine smile and a high level of hospitality. Austin Proper made our anniversary weekend feel truly special, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.
