Pros:

Die Lage ist toll und es hat natürlich Flair, vor allem von außen

Cons:

Zimmer sind sehr klein und schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Geruch soll wohl mit irgendeinem merkwürdigen Duft übertönt werden. Uns hat es nicht gefallen. Besser von außen fotografieren und ein besseres Hotel zum Übernachten wählen.

muy buena estancia

la mejor ubicación posible en ocean drive. me gustó que todos fueron muy amables. a pesar de estar en la zona más concurrida, no se escucha nada del ruido exterior adentro. me agradó que todo fuera tan vintage pero no descuidado.

Pros:

La ubicación es muy icónica en Ocean Drive, el hotel es bastante llamativo, la habitación era lo justo y necesario para ofrecer un nivel de comodidad adecuado, se notaba que estaba limpio y las camas son bastante cómodas.

Cons:

El aire acondicionado se encuentra detrás de la cortina por lo que la misma corta un poco el flujo del aire, pero nada mayor.

Het hotel kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken. De kamer was erg klein, we konden onze 2 koffers maar net openklappen. De airco maakte ontzettend veel geluid. Het bed kraakte heel erg en was erg bewegelijk. De key card was vreselijk, die hebben we wel 4x opnieuw moeten laten magnetiseren.

Suggestivo per l’atmosfera di Scarface, deludente come hotel.
Pros:

Il principale motivo per cui, a mio avviso, vale la pena soggiornare al Colony Hotel è la sua atmosfera e il richiamo cinematografico a Scarface. Davanti all’ingresso si trova un’auto che ricorda quella del film, con all’interno un manichino raffigurante Tony Montana. Anche il ristorante all’ingresso, illuminato dai caratteristici neon blu, è molto suggestivo e all’interno presenta immagini dedicate a Tony Montana. Non l’abbiamo provato perché abbiamo ritenuto i prezzi troppo elevati, nonostante lo sconto del 10% riservato agli ospiti dell’hotel.

La posizione su Ocean Drive è sicuramente un altro punto positivo, soprattutto per chi vuole vivere l’atmosfera di South Beach.

Cons:

La sistemazione, purtroppo, non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative, soprattutto in relazione al prezzo pagato. La pulizia della camera non ci è sembrata sufficientemente accurata; inoltre, i due letti queen size ci sono sembrati piccoli e i materassi poco confortevoli.

La maggiore criticità ha riguardato le dimensioni della stanza. La camera veniva indicata come una sistemazione di 27 m², ma dalle mie misurazioni risultava inferiore a 18 m². Per quattro persone, una differenza di questo tipo incide notevolmente sulla vivibilità degli spazi.

Anche il bagno era estremamente ridotto, al punto che in alcuni momenti risultava difficile utilizzarlo comodamente persino da soli. Non c’erano adeguati piani d’appoggio e gli asciugamani erano collocati in maniera poco pratica sopra lo sciacquone.

Il climatizzatore era vecchio e rumoroso. L’ascensore, pur essendo datato, conserva invece un certo fascino storico. Le porte di uscita devono essere spinte manualmente e, durante il nostro soggiorno, apparivano consumate e sporche, con evidenti tracce oleose.

Nel complesso, la nostra esperienza è stata negativa sotto il profilo del rapporto qualità-prezzo. A questo si è aggiunto un disguido relativo a un pagamento, che ho dovuto chiarire contattando il servizio clienti di Booking.com.
