My partner and I recently stayed at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba, and it was truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had.
This trip marked a profoundly meaningful milestone for us—the beginning of a new chapter in my life following my retirement after 25 years of dedicated service. Even before our arrival, we felt genuinely cared for through our email exchanges with Mr. Yoshiki Kobayakawa, Ms. Ayaka Shinya, and the Reservations Team, who kindly recognized the importance of this special occasion.
Upon check-in, we were delighted to experience a wonderful room with a breathtaking panoramic view of Tokyo Bay. Sitting by the window and enjoying the beautiful scenery created truly special moments that we will always remember. The thoughtful congratulatory card waiting in our room was another touching gesture that showed the genuine care and attention of the hotel team.
Throughout our stay, we enjoyed the excellent facilities and the Executive Lounge. The team members throughout the property impressed us with their professionalism, warm smiles, and sincere hospitality.
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Yoshiki Kobayakawa, Ms. Ayaka Shinya, the Reservations Team, and the entire Hilton Tokyo Odaiba team for making our stay so meaningful and memorable.
We sincerely look forward to returning in the future.
The room was really spacious with a truly spectacular view of the bay. Rainbow Bridge is right there and you can see Tokyo Tower and the Skytree. We were treated to the most stunning sunset on our first night and the balcony of our room gave us a front row seat. It was magical. The bed was huge and very comfortable. And having a seating area and table next to the balcony was lovely. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the spa facilities were also outstanding. Having an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the bay felt very luxuruious and special. Great selection of on-site restaurants as well. Cocktail hour in the Executive Lounge was very nice. And the location of the train to get into the city - Shimbashi, Ginza, etc - could not have been better. The train is more or less connected directly to the hotel entrance.
We weren't expecting to pay extra for the use of the spa. I've rarely encountered facilities like that being exclusive of the room rate. However, the quality was so high, we didn't mind so much. Although there were a few very nice restaurant options for dinner at the hotel, there wasn't really a bar space where you could just unwind with a drink, which I always really look forward to in a nice hotel. I did feel the absence of this. However, apparently there is a bar, it's just being refurbished, so hopefully this will be an option in the future. The Executive Lounge would benefit from having the option to get an alcoholic drink whenever you would like, rather than just during the designated cocktail hour.
The room was spaces and bed was excellent 👌

If you are cruising out of Tokyo International Cruise terminal, this is by far one of the very best hotels you can select within this area. The hotel is very easily connected to the train station, walkable to Aqua City & offers sweeping views of Tokyo itself.
Our check in was smooth, and when we encountered any issues, they were handled promptly - I'm talking, they even had a little generator for my hair straightener which operated on EU voltage rather than the 110 watts that Tokyo traditionally offers.
The staff were at every entrance greeting us, and as soon as we were in the vicinity they would make sure doors were opened & lifts were ready. We also thoroughly enjoyed the connection to Disneyland & utilized the free shuttle service which was prompt and more than sufficient.
Our room was large & spacious, well appointed on the 10th floor, and the hotel easily accommodated my request for a room close to the lifts on a mid level. The bathroom was fantastic & had some brilliant lighting! Unlike other countries, Japan doesn't seem to provide wifi connections to the TV, so if your expecting English stations to watch a movie after a long day they might be hard to find but overall, I couldn't recommend the Hilton enough.
Best of all, we were well enough from the city to not have to be stuck within the office buzz & busy-ness of a bustling CBD, yet close enough that everything was within a 25-35 minute train ride.
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which are very necessary because damn... that room was old and nasty! Stains on the dusty carpet, paint and wallpaper letting go, cracked bathroom sink... And any complaints were met with 'Sorry nothing we can do'. The rooms have excellent views though, so the potential is there. Just book another hotel in the area until renovations are complete ;-)
On the bright side, the spa facilities are very nice, as is the executive lounge and the main areas. The hotel is nicely located to explore this part of Tokyo, but not the best if you want to explore the main sites in the city. Because of its location it takes a long time to get anywere else.
Awful experience. This is a huge property, yet there isn’t a single place with a table where guests can sit and use a laptop. The only area that appeared suitable for working was closed for “renovation,” and I was asked to leave.
This is supposed to be a Hilton, a brand known for international standards and for being welcoming to both families and business travelers. I understand and respect that customs and cultures may differ from country to country, and I always try to do the same when I travel. However, one of the reasons I choose an international hotel brand is the expectation of consistent standards around the world.
As a guest, I should be able to find a quiet place to open my laptop and get some work done while my family is asleep. Unfortunately, that basic convenience was not available, making this a very disappointing stay.
Room was spacious and clean.
Staff were not very welcoming. I had booked for someone to come collect our bags and bring to the lobby. Nobody came we had to struggle down in the morning at 5.30am without waking others on our floor!!
A beautiful experience. The rooms are very clean and comfortably spacious. The hotel is conveniently located with shopping malls close by. The views from the hotel is superb. The breakfast spread was vast. Service is great.
The close proximity to stores, cruise terminal, the hotel sushi restaurant was delicious and the employees were always willing to help with everything.

I honestly don’t understand how this hotel is rated as a 5-star property. It was a 1-star experience at best.
The hotel is extremely dated and feels like it hasn’t been renovated in decades. The room was worn throughout, and the bathroom was in particularly poor condition. Several of the floor tiles actually cracked and moved when stepped on, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be five stars.
One of the advertised benefits of our room category was access to cocktail hour, but when we arrived we were told it was already full. If access is advertised as an included amenity, guests shouldn’t be turned away because of capacity.
Overall, the property feels tired, neglected, and nowhere near the standard you would expect from Hilton or a 5-star hotel. There are far better options in Tokyo. This was, without question, the most disappointing hotel stay of our trip to Japan. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
