stayed here as it was the pick up spot for the Ghan. Restaurant was good - lots of choices. excellent hot chips. air conditioning was good.

Cons:

no free wifi. room was located miles from lifts and reception. restaurant was a little exxy.

One of the clean towels had a dark hair folded in it. We had to wait a long time for check in. It was expensive given that there was so much works going on

Disappointing, as we loved it the first time we stayed.
Pros:

The pool area was fantastic, the view from our room across to the water was beautiful.

Cons:

We understood on booking that the hotel exterior was being renovated but the jackhammer under our room was intolerable for the 11 days we were staying.Breakfast was nice, but on occasion was cold, ie eggs, bacon. Check -in staff need to be properly trained, as they made a lot of mistakes with our payment and nearly ruined our stay.

An ideal location for a short stay in Darwin.
Pros:

There is a cosy feel about the lobby. The restaurant looks out on the pool area. Bar and food service at the pool is a plus.
The location on the promenade is beautiful and ideal for a stroll while it is in easy reach of myriad food and drink outlets nearby.

Cons:

A renovation was ongoing. Although it wasn’t disruptive, it would have been nice to have been advised if the fact when booking.
