Great hotel which can be fabulous
Pros:

Great staff. Very professional. Comfortable room upgraded after a shaky start. Lovely pool.

Cons:

Breakfast not as good as its sister hotel up the road. The coffee machine is tepid and tasteless. One bar staff member poolside - very friendly but had no idea re pouring drinks. Noisy in the mornings due to renovations but not terrible. Very unpleasant first morning being woken by window cleaners blaring music at 715 am after a post midnight arrival. However, staff handled it perfectly and professionally. Esp Nicole.

Pros:

It was decent but not great. Omelettes were a bit tasteless but generally it was ok. Certainly not bad but not noteworthy either. Staff very pleasant. The generic coffee machine is an absolute shocker. Tasteless and soulless

Cons:

Not enough notification that there was building works. Window cleaners blaring music at 715am after arriving at 1 am - not happy! More building works early both mornings. Eager bar staff by pool but no idea how to make basic drinks. A little disappointing for a Hilton. Front office staff absolutely first class

Clean hotel, friendly staff in a great location.Good value for money.
Pros:

Great location, just far enough away from the noise of the city area.
Lovely pool area and rooms were a good size.

Cons:

Only one set of lifts. We seemed to have to walk a long way to get to them from our room. Not sure if that was due to the renovations being done at the moment.

Don’t stay there.
Pros:

It is being renovated. We were put in a first floor room right next to the renovations. Unbelievably noisy during the day.

A $6 charge for room service.

A $10a day charge for internet.

Cons:

I disliked most things. The only good thing was the staff who were lovely.

The BEST in Darwin
Pros:

The best property in my opinion in Darwin.
Room was up to expectations, Price was well worth it - in fact paid more for another place that was non-comparable to DoubleTree.
Only regret was not having my entire stay at Darwin here.
Pool was the best I encountered in Darwin. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and were very pleased with both.
Hotel also gives out great cookies!

Cons:

There is construction just next door.
Work starts early around 7am.
