Free parking was a bonus. This is a great location if you want to hit all the shopping stores all around BUT I was worried about my car in the parking lot. My niece stayed on the other side of the interstate and there were sketchy characters that came out around dusk. Lots of rough and drugged out guys walking and riding bikes.
This hotel actually sits off the road more then some of the more expensive hotels in the area but road noise was still a problem when falling asleep.
The bed was comfortable, breakfast adequate, and room was clean.
Before deciding on this hotel I wish we would have read the reviews as they are all spot on. The majority of these issues are the ownership/management and trying to run a hotel on the cheap! This is the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel where the bedding was wet along with the carpet. It’s so wet like they just cleaned it, but the musty smell in the room told me otherwise. We stayed in a room with a king bed and only received three standard size pillows! I believe they don’t run the AC during the day to save money and cut corners with maintenance. At a minimum run a dehumidifier in the room and discharge the moisture—-I can just imagine the mold growing all over the room which the smell in the room is consistent with. This lack of maintenance shouldn’t fall on a guest looking for a quick place to rest from a long drive that is left walking into it. Unacceptable in many levels!! The night desk clerk was very nice and gave us dry bedding which we changed ourselves. You could tell by her reaction that this is not the first complaint. Reading the owners responses to other reviews blaming the dampness on the weather/rain claiming there were no funds to actually fix these issues is hogwash. How about this - don’t get in the hotel business and then run it in the ground putting patrons health at risk??? Renting rooms you know have problems and evidence that you knew it months before but still rented the rooms out despite that???? This hotel has the potential to be nice the mentality of the owners/management will never allow that to happen. We woke up to puffy eyes and sore throats with a very rough sleep. All night long it sounded like someone was tapping on the door…and the constant banging in the parking lot. The AC ran the entire night which told me that they were not running the AC when the room is vacant. Very shortsighted especially when my honest review (and others like mine) with likely deter future guests from staying here. I will be making a formal complaint with the health department and encourage others with the same experience to do the same. Tennessee needs to open a hotline to post complaints related to hotels owners that fail to maintain a safe and clean hotel for unsuspecting travelers because it seems to be rampant. Dirty furniture in the lobby, broken floor tile in the elevator! Skip this place if you want a good nights rest and a hot breakfast!
Very Very nice People
Nothing
Gross!!! Not clean at all! Mold and hair every where
Location
Smell in the room, room never cooled off, bed is uncomfortable, carpet felt sticky. Door was too close to the toilet.
Staff was very friendly
Bathroom could use a remodel. Looks like there was water damage that had not been fixed properly
Great location, friendly staff
Room smelled weird and furniture needs to be updated
the staff
it was good
Nothing
It smelled like stale cigarettes and damp basement
Property was clean
Little dated but not bad
I was really impressed with the room, because I usually go straight to air conditioner filter for cleaning. This filter was clean, I give them 100 on this.
My Granddaughter and I have asthma and allergies that's why. Thanks again!
I didn't like that the lamps, they are not updated.
I usually can charge phone right into the lamp. Definitely don't like fabric chairs because I can't clean them.
Comfortable bed, nice breakfast, overall enjoyable stay and conveniently located next to a few good restaurants. Thanks for the enjoyable trip!
