Excellent service from Omran at the reception. He was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. His warm attitude and great customer service made a real difference. Thank you, Omran!
Had an amazing stay. Hotel stuff Imran was amazing very kind and friendly also helped us with our queries.
We enjoyed our stay at Le Metropolitan in Paris. It was centrally located, clean, rooms and beds comfortable, evening bar service great, and morning breakfasts excellent. We particularly enjoyed the service. The front desk staff provided excellent guidance on things to do and getting around Paris. I don't recall all their names, however, Emran Mohamed was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.
We had a memorable stay at Le Metropolitan Paris. From the warm welcome to the comfort of the room, everything was carefully taken care of. The team was kind, professional, and always available to assist. A beautiful hotel that offers a true Parisian experience.
I had the most amazing weekend thanks to the staff. The hotel is lovely, view is gorgeous, rooms were clean & cozy, but the staff made my stay. They brought a welcome note with a small dessert tray to my room on the first afternoon, absolutely made my day. Front desk staff were very welcoming & helpful.. I need to highlight Omran, he was one of the best customer service reps at a hotel I have ever encountered. My first night I mentioned to him that I was worried my dinner reservation would charge me a no show because I had originally booked for 2 people, he said not a problem & called the restaurant for me. Everytime I left the hotel he got up, opened the front door for me & helped me get my bags into my Ubers. He even took the time to take a picture for me with the Eiffel Tower in the background as I had mentioned I was traveling alone and had no one to help me. He made my stay feel like home. Thank-you Omran, see you next time!
I’m mainly writing this review to thank the staff for their excellent service. Jacinto at breakfast was particularly attentive and did his job professionally and with kindness - clearly a very experienced gentleman.
Regarding cleanliness, there was some dust in parts of the bedroom so a word with the cleaners would be helpful. There was also a ticking noise that kept me awake on the last night and no one attended to this. On the whole, however, a pleasant stay, thank you.
Beautiful property in an amazing location, the service was great and the rooms were very comfortable
This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott property. They advertise this as a five star property, and charge prices to match that, but it is very far from five star. The room is very small, which is not unexpected considering it’s in the middle of Paris, but what was unexpected is how unclean, run down and poorly equipped the room was.
The entire room was dirty and dusty. The corridor outside had clearly not been vacuumed for months, possibly years. There was a bad smell in the room. Everything was run down, stained, broken. The “curtain” on the bathroom window was a cheap, dirty, shower curtain. The only amenities provided were one shower cap and one pack of ear buds which were not replenished at all during the stay. The pillows were rock hard and small, when asked for an alternative they provided another small and slightly less hard pillow. I ended up buying my own pillow so that I could sleep. The curtains are paper thin and have no blackout so as soon as it’s light outside, if you’re a light sleeper like me, you wake up.
I felt uncomfortable during the entire stay because of the uncleanliness of the room and bathroom. After a few nights I asked to check out because I just felt so disgusted by the dirt but this request was denied. Later I was offered to move to another property but at that point I was close to the end of the stay so it did not make sense to move.
I spoke to the manager and gave her my feedback as I always prefer to directly give feedback rather than write a review. She was very polite and listened and even sent a handwritten note to the room and while I appreciate this, I still felt I needed to write a review because the property itself is so subpar and with the rates they are charging the experience should be significantly better.
The one thing this property has going for it is the location. It is very close to the Eiffel Tower and in a very nice neighborhood.
My advice to the hotel management and Marriott is to either spend some time bringing the property up to scratch or stop advertising this as a five star property when it so clearly is not.
ok hotel for Paris and the area, staff was nice and attentive, lacking spare gadgets such as hair dryers, we were waiting for a replacement for over a day and had to remind the front desk, had to pay extra for any eggs at the continental breakfast, very stingy in my opinion, this is a first for me.
Nice pool and broken sauna, need a lot of attention from the property owners to be a true 5 star hotel, will look for other accommodation when visiting Paris.
Le fait que 600.- m’ont ete retirer sans aucune raison et l’etablissement m’a dis que sa rembourserais apres ma partie j’ai toujours rien recu et je n’arrive pas a les avoir au telephone
This was my third stay at this hotel. I initially chose it for proximity to the OECD but have returned for the atmosphere and the service.
A highlight this trip was Jacinto in the restaurant. We went for breakfast each day and his service and attentiveness were absolutely top notch.
Excellent service and atmosphere. Special thank you to Jacinto for his hospitality and kindness.
What a wonderful experience! Everyone was so lovely and helpful. Jacinto was an excellent waiter and Maxime extremely caring. We can't wait to return!
Great, human-sized gem of a hotel in Paris’ leafy, quiet XVIth arrondissement. Beautiful Haussmann building with a delicious breakfast offering, quiet, bright rooms (albeit on the smaller side but this is Paris), access to a nearby gym a 10mn walk away, reliable laundry service and of course Bonvoy support and points. Staff is super friendly, reactive, special thanks to Sébastien (the highly efficient, spiffy concierge) and Jacinto (equally efficient breakfast supervisor who speaks about 15 languages by the sound of it), plus everyone else, for making my stay very enjoyable and a business success. Merci.
Fantastic hotel near the Eiffel Tower. Great service by the hotel staff, particularly Jacinto in the bar. Will definitely return to this hotel on future trips.
