Pros:

The hotel is in a nice location. Plenty food and shopping near by. Staff members were all very nice. Hotel is also very clean. Breakfast was nice and had great options. All in all a great place to stay.

Cons:

Not kid friendly. Did not realize that kids are restricted from using the pool except with a reservation and only for an hour. Also reservations can only be made between 9-5. Which puts a dent in your day if you’re wanting to go places. Not convenient at all. I’ve stayed at many different hotels and this was a first for me. I’ll be sure to check rules more carefully in the future.

Pros:

很有「90 年代經典奢華感」的一間 Grand Hyatt。這次入住 Grand Hyatt Fukuoka，我其實非常喜歡。整體空間在設計、材質與燈光的運用上，有一種上個世紀大型國際飯店才有的經典奢華感。現在的新飯店反而很少再做這種尺度與氣氛。雖然設備並不新，但可以感受到飯店一直很努力維持空間質感與服務水準。飯店直接連接 Canal City Hakata，非常方便。晚上商場的鋼彈水舞與光雕很精彩，飯店 1 樓還有現場音樂演出，整體真的有一種回到美好 90 年代大型飯店的感覺。地理位置也非常好，走路就能到河邊屋台、櫛田神社、商店街等地方。晚上周邊的氣氛尤其舒服，很有度假感。

Cons:

可惜的是部分設備真的有年代感，例如馬桶沖水力偏弱，有時連衛生紙都無法一次沖乾淨。這應該也是老飯店硬體比較難全面改善的地方。但整體而言，我對這間飯店還是有很深的好感。如果之後再來福岡，我一定還會再選擇入住這裡。

Rooms in Japanes style
Nice swimming facilities
At walkable distance to the beautiful Sumiyoshi-jinja Shrine

Cons:

Shopping next door not that spectacular,

Bar entrance fee confusing
Cons:

We were asked to pay an entrance fee to get into the piano bar to buy some drinks. Dinners at the open restaurant next to the bar could see into the bar and listen to the piano player for free. Did not enter on principle.
