Good location close to several Tube stations
Noisy at night so very difficult to sleep. Our room (101) was directly over the outside Shisha bar which stayed open until 5 a.m. Our room lacked double-glazing so the sound of music and laughter travelled. When I complained to the front desk they said they would ask for the noise to be kept down but of course that was impossible.
We could also hear the Tube trains running
Poor value for money given this most basic of requirements for a hotel (i.e. sleep) could not be met
It was reasonably good value for money. Very clean and well presented rooms.
Although our stay was good on the whole, I would not stay there again because of the restaurant. It’s owned by someone other than the hotel and it’s definitely not value for money. We had a continental breakfast on our first morning and we were applauded at the lack of selection, we also looked at the menu to see if they might have better meals for dinner but no so that was the last time we went to the restaurant. We spoke to 2 lots of people who had had a cooked breakfast and they also said they wouldn’t be dining there again.
Good location, the room was okay, reasonably clean. Although on arrival the toilet bowl appeared to have been used for no.2 business.
The hotel gym was not operational.
The management is not environmentally conscious. Change towels everyday,the use of small plastic packaging for toiletries.
