Renovation going on making the experience less than perfect. However, Mr Wat, has made it all up, with the most wonderful welcome when we arrive, to the fun tuk tuk ride to the Sala Daeng station
Excellent service from Benz from concierge, recommended to stay here. Pretty good experience overall
- Staff e accoglienza: Il vero cuore dell'hotel. Tutto il personale è stato di una gentilezza infinita, accogliendoci sempre con un sorriso caloroso e tanta premura.
- Camere e struttura: Gli ambienti sono moderni e curati. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la camera, davvero spaziosa, confortevole e perfetta per rilassarsi.
- Posizione: Eccellente e strategica, una base d'appoggio ideale per esplorare comodamente la città.
- Temperatura interna: L'aria condizionata negli spazi comuni era purtroppo un po' troppo forte, un dettaglio che a volte rendeva l'ambiente meno confortevole.
- Lavori di rinnovo: Durante il nostro soggiorno erano in corso dei lavori di ristrutturazione. Ci è dispiaciuto molto non poter visitare il famoso rooftop, che era temporaneamente chiuso.

We love coming back to the Banyan Tree, mr Wat , Bow, and Nick , Oar and Annie all added to spoil us and make us feel so very welcome. Thank for spoiling us for our anniversary… can’t wait to revisit after the renovations are done!❤️ huge shout out to the Apsara dinner cruise by the Banyan Tree… perfection!
We were served by Anny, May and Jane who were very professional. We dined at Vertigo which is at the top floor of the building. The view up there is very nice. We could see the skyline of Bangkok

We booked one night just to enjoy the rooftop and some staycation. Too bad the rooftop is closed for renovations, so is the lobby and most of the hotel. Yet the price is the same as usual. Booking . Com is also culprit as renovation should be flagged as a header. But we know why they don’t do it. Who cares for customers, important is not to loose room occupancy. Shame for Banyan tree. A true 5 star chain should close operations during heavy renovations. The breakfast was a terrible experience. Cramped in a 1970’s ambiance with dirty velvet chairs and a vinil carpet dirtier than a small Bangkok alley. Again, better to be closed than to give such image to customers.
Celebrating birthday at Vertigo too (weekday dinner buffet package). Nice view of bangkok skyline + lovely services from khun aor, khun film and chef Aou made my day special. I like grilled river prawn, sashimi and pasta station. Dessert is very nice too. :3
