Pros:

Great breakfast and bar areas.

Cons:

Carpet in hallway was stained. Was asked 4 times when I’d be leaving room even though it was well before 11 am checkout.

Kitchens closed too early which was unfortunate for us as golfers that didn’t get back to hotel until 9:00 pm.

Enjoyed the view- very clean, good staff. Staff on reception are excellent.
Pros:

Location- room was amazing overlooking the beach. Very clean.
Private entrance onto the beach.

Cons:

Drain smell coming up through the shower.
Pillows were too high for me. I prefer a flatter pillow
Not a great choice for breakfast- the usual full Irish. Other hotels would have a fuller menu including avocado, pancakes, etc… With this type breakfast, the food never keeps the heat and is always cool by the time I get back to the table- which does not make it enjoyable- just functional!
Noise on the corridor from other guests returning to their rooms in the early hours after attending a function.

Pros:

Traumhafte Lage direkt am Velvet Beach. Schöne und moderne Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen und nicht zuletzt das besondere Flair der Jameson Bar.

Pros:

La location de l'hôtel proche de la mer, la propreté.

Cons:

La vue n'était pas agréable, les finitions des parties communes abimées et les appliques dans la chambre se décrochent. Nos voisins étaient très bruyants donc il y'a un manque d'isolation. L'extérieur de l'hôtel n'est vraiment pas beau. Enfin la nuit dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles ne vaut pas 294 € !

The people cleaning rooms very helpful.

Cons:

No access lift at front broken for days, no intention of fixing. NO help with bags or wheelchair. Minimum staff. Slow service. Under staffed. They charge before food arrives. Staffed all trained to insist for payment at order time. No management team. The staff all young student type no trained older staff. Obviously owners are using temporary staff on minimum wage and not paying proper senior people. Kitchen seemed under extreme pressure obviously again under staffed. Had to wait for over 2 hours for a snack. Awful. Dominated by coaches of golfers.
