Pros:

The place is nice! Bar and food are really good! Also the breakfast!

Cons:

Staff can improve their communication! The day of my check-in, I called the hotel to see if it would be possible for me to do an early check in, they told me that I could check in between 12-1pm so I drove all the way there and once we were there they told us that it wouldn't be possible to check in anytime before 3 pm! Once we checked in, they told us the room would be cleaned 3 days after our arrival. On the day it was supposed to happen, I went to the reception to ask, and they told me they were fully booked for the day and wouldn't do it! I told them that if they tell the client they will clean on a certain day that creates an expectation, the front desk lady kept creating excuses instead of just admitting that it was their fault, and I don't think they would tell me unless I went there to ask!

Pros:

Front counter help TERRIBLE. Parking should be a courtesy for guest! Dinner was good. Signs in rooms should have correct checkout times!

Looking forward to my next trip to the Bay area.
Pros:

Had to leave one day sooner than planned. Only stayed one night but service, staff and facility was very good. Had to leave before breakfast.

Cons:

That I was not able to stay longer.

Exceptional Staff and very lovely place!
Pros:

All was perfect. I was greeted by the friendliest staff. Maria A. was just fabulous and so helpful. She really helped make my road trip even better than it already had been!

This is the place to stay in Oakland
Pros:

Awesome waterside location with pool and jacuzzi, cool open/communal architecture design that is open but smart and functional, awesome staff always, clean chill rooms with everything you need and calm color scheme, lovely breakfast in the morning. Excellent price for all of this value. Close to downtown oakland but right off the freeway to anywhere. It’s a special place reall

Pros:

I stayed at the Executive Inn and Suites for a week for work. Milton Davis and Enrique were both awesome and really made the stay pleasant. They were very helpful in every way and went the extra mile to make the trip enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying there and it will be my 1st choice for when I return to that area again for work. Thanks guys!

Clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly staff
Pros:

My favorite place to stay when I'm in Oakland. The rooms are always clean amd very comfortable. The location is amazing because its right on the bay and located in a safe part of town. I also love the staff here especially Maria and Kim. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Oakland. Jack London Square is close by and there are several dining options that are near the hotel

I have to think about if I'd return....
Pros:

Bathroom smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Hallways of weed. Cops blocking parking lot because of some late night crime at the hotel. That's a lot really!

Spectacular panorama
Pros:

My "King Water View Suite" is remarkably spacious. If you're fortunate enough to have a room facing the water, you'll have a dramatic view. My balcony looks down on a lagoon. Coast Guard Island is across the water, with the superstructures of Navy ships towering beyond. In the morning you get to watch rowers gliding over the water. A pair of Polynesian canoes, each propelled by sixteen paddlers, takes over the lagoon in the evening, with a drummer in the bow pounding out the strokes.
