Pros:

Beautiful hotel with a lovely river view, a very comfortable bed, and friendly front desk staff.

Cons:

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience during my stay. Housekeeping opened the door and entered the room even though I had not checked out yet and still had around 20–30 minutes remaining before checkout time. My luggage was still inside, and it was scratched when the door was opened.

What disappointed me most was that the damage was not compensated or taken responsibility for. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I expected more care regarding guests’ belongings and privacy. I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping procedures and ensure that staff always knock and wait for confirmation before entering a room.

Magnifique endroit trop impersonnel
Pros:

Situation exceptionnelle dans la vielle ville au bord du Rhin. Belle chambre avec vue sur le fleuve et la rive allemande, très calme. Bon petit-déjeuner, malheureusement à prendre dans l'hôtel partenaire à 500m de distance.

Pros:

Pačilo sa mi aj okolie hotela,nebola som spokojná s neskorším ubytovaním.O 15:00hod.
Uvítala by som do budúcna skôr ubytovať,po 12:00 hod by bolo pre mňa ideálne,nakoľko cestujem celú noc do tejto destinácie.

Housekeeping hat ein Lob/Prämie verdient
Pros:

Super Sauber - Riesen Lob an das Reinigungsteam. In den Details sieht man die Gründlichkeit. Ich sag nur.. Hinter der Heizung ist kein Staub. Mit Online Check in alles geklappt - 1A digital aufgestellt. Und der Blick.. Man fällt buchstäblich in den Rhein.

Cons:

Das man zum Frühstück in den anderes Hotel müsste. Haben wir somit nicht in Anspruch genommen.

Zeit, dass das Hotel in neue Hände kommt!

Cons:

Es ist unmöglich, dass das Einchecken nur im Hotel Schütz geht und es auch dort Frühstück gibt (ein paar hundert Meter aufwärts). Veloraum oder die Möglichkeit, die Akkus aufzuladen = Fehlanzeige, nur dank Intervention beim Receptionisten noch machbar.

something has changed, for cost efficiency reasons i believe . so less positive customer experience
Pros:

location can not be greater ( maybe not be the same if you come by car , due to pedestrian zone and remote parking ).
small but complete café corner at 1 floor ( but not clearly indicated )

Cons:

2nd time i come, so i did not check the message in booking (in german by the way, so can not read) that said that checking is at another place. btw i never check the messages in booking , as they re usually useless.
there s a way to call the other place from the lobby , but nobody answered. was not appreciated by me to have to wait 20min at 9.30pm before to make the check in.
breakfast is also at the other hotel, good hill climb to go there. i had the impression that guests from the other hotel are separated, and got a more complete breakfast ( in term of variety) .
room is simple. ok enough for me for one night , but it s true one can also find some more fancy places nowadays.
no AC , but this was written
i had to struggle to find where to plug chargers, and lights would switch off/on by themselves ( contact issue i believe , or something damaged)
TV with only 2 or 3 channels in french ( Fr is one of the official CH language)
