Quality Inn Gulfport I-10

At first was given a very dirty room. Chair in room very dirty room had bad odor and dog smile and rug look like it came off the ground. Pillows had lip stick on it. Like that didn't change the sheets

I know when you go to a dog-friendly hotel it's 50/50 on the smell of the room, but our room smelled of mold. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was very nice, but the ladies who were working during breakfast were very rude. They were talking loudly in front of guests about how much they didn't like their jobs and how nasty the guests were in "our breakfast area". I understand talking crap at work, but it's very unprofessional to do that in front of your customers. If you don't like providing a service maybe the *service industry* is not for you.

I wasent allowed a key because I was told it wasent paid for now u are telling me I could have stayed .. I informed the man I've paid multiple times over the app an he refused to check me in .... I want something done about this I had to sleep in my truck because of him !! Im furious now

Road construction in area and heavy rains during our stay made getting in and out very challenging. We were checked into one room and discovered the min fridge didn’t work so was immediately given a different room by a most accommodating young lady at the desk.
Room was “clean” but had an odor as we arrived but cleared as the air conditioning fan for awhile. The tiled floors were very slippery as though a soapy residue was on them.
The bed was very comfortable. Possibly, due to weather, the TV continued to turned off or pixelated. The internet did work well as did the air conditioning.
We did not wait for the breakfast to be “replenished“ but the coffee was good.

Room was in bad need of updating. Carpet had wear holes in it. The chairs were worn with threads hanging. The shower curtain rod was somewhat pulled out of the wall and hanging. The maid was rude when asked if we could exchange dirty towels for clean ones. News flash….we don’t want to steal your crappy towels! Free breakfast was another adventure. 2 of the 3 days spent there they were always out of different items including fresh coffee. Had to walk to the front desk to get some. They had one person working area who had to make everyone’s waffles so nothing got kept up with. The third morning we didn’t bother with trying and picked up something on the ride. Location was OK. We will not be staying here next year when we go for our annual event. We figured we would try it, but we will go back to the Howard Johnson next-door. A lot better hotel.

The AC was very noisy. The carpet was dirty. There were people hanging outside and very loud at 1 in the morning
