Exceptional services and excellent premium add ons made this an truly extraordinary stay
A wonderful hotel - many people do not realize that the hotel actually has full apartments, not just rooms. We stayed in the Vespucci apartment, and it was fabulous.
From the moment you arrive at this hotel, you are treated like royalty by everyone on the staff. The apartment was stocked with fresh fruits and a selection of bottled waters, the bedrooms were large and so comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious.
The location is just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, so you can walk everywhere.
Just a great hotel with great attention paid to every detail.
Great location and beautiful river views.
Lorenzo, at the reception desk, always takes good care of us.
Absolutely amazing place and the staff were simply wonderful our entire stay. From the moment we arrived the staff was so attentive and happy to help with anything we asked. The location was simply one of the best in Florence.
Thank you so much.
I had a lovely stay. The staff was perfect:professional, welcoming and kind in helping me in every aspect of my visit even printing out description of the superb artwork hanging in the hotel itself.
I can’t express enough the beauty of the hotel’s interior design and the artwork which graced every level.
Last but not least:my room was everything I could have hoped for:elegant, intimate and the view of the Ponte Vecchio amazing.
I will certainly stay again and firmly consider Hotel Lungarno my”home away from home”❤️

I will definitely come back.
This little boutique hotel has a good location next to the Ponte Vecchio. That is the only good thing I have to say. The staff is not particularly nice. The food is not very good. My son was approached and robbed while sitting in the cafe on property. When I left, I accidentally left my sweaters and 2 cashmere shawls in yhe armoire in my room. I called within 5 hours of leaving to ask them to retrieve my items. They lied and said tje did not find anything. I must assume then that yheir housekeeping staff are thieves. We will certainly never return. We paid $1000 per night for three nights for three rooms. They should have been much nicer and more accommodating.
We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Lungarno. While not our first time in Florence, we could not have been happier with the location. The room was perfect and the amenities were outstanding, but our favorite part was definitely the people. The staff here are truly second to none.
This is especially true of Bilal, the bellman, who took exceptional care of us at every step. From securing transportation to capturing perfect photos of my wife and me, he ensured we felt looked after at every single moment. His kind approach and deep knowledge of the city made our visit exactly what we hoped it would be. It is professionals like Bilal who represent the absolute best of hospitality, and he is the main reason we will be returning to Hotel Lungarno. He is a true asset to the entire organization.
Location: excellent - This is what you’re really staying here for.
This location does make it a magnet for external tourists who also want to enjoy the excellent location at cocktail hour. Securing a table outside on the terrace after 5pm or even inside can mean a long wait (doesn’t matter if you’re a hotel guest or not).
Atmosphere: our experience - it feels like a revolving door. No one asked us if we’d been to Florence before during check in, the assumption was it was our first time and all of the usual tourist destinations are pointed out along with the usual tourist restaurants. Suggest you do your own research rather than rely on the hotel to recommend a special place for a meal.
Rooms: cramped, tired, and paper thin walls. You’ll hear the person coughing in the room next to you- prepare accordingly if you’re a light sleeper.
Service: it’s OK but it’s not exceptional. We had some hiccups so definitely follow up if there are things you’ve asked for help with which are time sensitive.
Honest feedback - Next time I would stay elsewhere but drop in for a cocktail at sunset.
This is a pricey luxury hotel in the best possible location, well worth the expense. Well - staffed with friendly and competent young professionals.
Perfect command of English all around. We only ate our continental breakfast in our room at the hotel, which was very good, but the restaurant food seemed excellent by the looks of it. Easy access, a garage right next door (as we came by car), which car we didn’t use until our departure, as seemingly everything worthwhile in Florence is only a short walk from Hotel Lungarno, including some near - perfect trattorias such as f.e. the Cinghiale Bianco right across the street, where you cannot reserve a table, but the hotel concierge came there along with us and had the owner immediately seat us, notwithstanding the long queue.
That’s the kind of privileged access one is looking for and as we experienced the Hotel Lungarno can provide, also similarly at the (difficult to find tickets) top museums, where as hotel guests we were whizzed through the entrance, without delays. Excellent.
Idyllic spot and impeccable service. I’m coming back.
Beautiful and well appointed and in a good location But paper thin walls so it was noisy and I did not sleep well
The rooms are jammed with furniture
Excellent location on the north side of the river Arno. Slightly off the track from the busy streets full of tourists, but close enough to get up early and quietly walk across the Ponte Vecchio to one of the other hotels with which is part of the chain.
My favourite location, for and evening drink and watch the world go by - which is on the south side of the is the Caffe del'Orro. Needs booking.
The location was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nothing
Our stay at Hotel Lungarno was much more than just a hotel experience it truly felt like a home away from home. From the doormen to the waitresses and the concierge team, everyone made every effort to make our stay priceless and impeccable.
A special thank you to Lorenzo, who assisted us from beginning to end with such kindness and professionalism.
Grazie mille to the entire Lungarno family for such a warm and unforgettable experience.
Very comfortable room and the most accommodating staff. It’s such a central location, extremely walkable. And the breakfast buffet is unreal. Everything is thought though so well and the staff makes you feel they really are there to serve your every need.
Spectacular in every sense! Service, location, rooms, bar, restaurant…..
Great location, excellent service and attention to details. They made us feel special with upgraded river view room. Overall one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed at.
Super cute hotel right on the river Arno. Close to all the places you want to see in downtown Florence. Awesome room with river view. Breakfast was fantastic.
Our stay at Hotel Lungarno was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Florence. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located along the river, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the hospitality from the staff.
A special thank you to Lorenzo, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out and made a lasting impression on us. Every interaction with the team felt warm, genuine, and personalized.
The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations in every way. We are so grateful for the memories created at Hotel Lungarno and would absolutely love to return someday.
