The Brittania Hotel is the perfect place to stay when you visit the historical city of Trondheum.
Pros:

The location of the Britannia Hotel is within walking distance to all the highlights of Trondheim. The entire staff was exceptional: professional, friendly and helpful. Standouts were the concierges, and doormen. Lief at Reception went above and beyond finding historical information about my ancestors and my great grandfather who moved to America in 1871. The breakfast was the very best of our 16 day Scottish and Norway trip.

A superb hotel, very good facilities and superb staff.
Pros:

One of the very best hotels in Trondheim and Norway. Expensive, yes, but certainly worth it.
Service, facilities excellent, the food is dangerously good, especially the breakfast is superb!

Cons:

On one occasion decaf cappuccino was impossible to serve, but ordinary Coffee was offered as substitutt, which is not a good solutions for a coffe lover with intolerance for caffeine. Otherwise everything was perfect and I will certainly be back!

Et par dage før afrejsen havde jeg ændret min bestilling hos Booking.com, så morgenmad var inkluderet (hvilket det ikke var i første omgang). Jeg havde også opgraderet mit værelse. Ingen af disse informationer nåede frem til hotellet, så jeg blev ved ankomsten gjort opmærksom på, at jeg skulle betale for morgenmaden.
