Was available, but expensive and the $15 parking fee pissed us off.

Cons:

Charging an additional $15 for parking? AT A MOTEL? That is unforgiveable. And that it was a surprise made it worse. And that the rather surly overnight guy offered us cookies right after was hilarious, like that made up for the surprise charge. Surprise fees and charges are a blight, in a restaurant or in a hotel. Maybe we're lucky they didn't charge us a "resort fee" as well!

Clean, remodeled rooms.
Pros:

The place was quaint. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. Parking was very close to room.

Cons:

Only twin beds available when we made the reservation, and I found out why: rooms are very much like "European" hotel rooms - they're very compact. You couldn't get a king bed in there if you tried as it would take up all the interior space. I could reach out and touch the wall next to the bed. While okay, it was a little small for the price.

I will definitely go again. I always enjoy the pancakes & bakery; this was my first stay overnight.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean. It was nice and quiet even though it had a floor of rooms overhead. .It's a quaint property with beautiful landscaping and very close to Cal Poly

Cons:

I wish there was a very simple breakfast like bagels, yogurt, and fruit in the hotel lobby. I love the Apple Farm restaurant, especially the apple pancakes, but it's a bit pricey. It would be nice if there were a simple, limited option in the hotel lobby, especially for early birds or those who don't want a very pricey or large meal for breakfast.
