Once again, Pacific Terrace was terrific. We have been there numerous times and will keep coming back. The property has a fabulous view being right on Pacific Beach and the ambiance is excellent as well. Comfy beds waiting for us inside charming rooms/suites.
Each staff member we interacted with were very attentive and made sure we were happy and well taken care of.
The food and beverage offerings at the Terrace Cafe were top notch with a great selection for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
So, give them a try. You won’t be sorry.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, highlighted by the best ocean views in all of San Diego. Pacific Terrace Hotel is a coastal paradise that we cannot wait to visit again.

The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The view was beautiful. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was very solicitous.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a quick getaway at the Pacific Terrace Hotel, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Ashley, Matt, Colin, and Kailey were outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. Their friendly attitudes and exceptional customer service truly made a difference.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were some of the best we've had. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also loved the activities available at the hotel. The activities coordinator made sure we were taken care of and got us set up with bikes so we could enjoy a ride along the boardwalk, which was one of the highlights of our trip. Between the amazing beachfront location, fantastic food and drinks, and the incredible staff, Pacific Terrace delivered the perfect San Diego escape. We can't wait to come back for another stay!

Very relaxed hotel, spacious rooms, great beds, very clean. We stayed on the ground floor with a terrace door opening right on to the pool which felt for us quite nice and easy. There is some noise from the pool area but nothing major and it gets quiet in the evening. The restaurant is indeed small (I have seen other reviews complaining about this) but the food quality is good, there is plenty of seating outside, and they serve the pool area too the whole day. They serve freshly made cookies every afternoon, never forgot to put water bottles and new coffee pods in our room each day, and put chocolates on your pillow in the evening. The wifi works great and there's plenty of towels. They are not fussy about you using an unlimited amount of pool towels either, and you can take them to the beach too. The Boardwalk, which passes right along the hotel pool, is lively (but not annoyingly noisy) during the evenings and there are many eating places in walking distance. On the last evening, I had lost my earplugs and the guys at the reception run out and got me a new set. Overall lovely hotel, I would definitely stay there again!

Had the best stay last weekend! Comfy beds, quality sheets, super clean, great food, friendly staff, hotel on the beach, heated pool, happy hour cookies, cute gift shop, got discount tickets to San Diego zoo, fire dance show on Friday nights, dinner before the show, huge patio, got the breakfast package and it was fantastic! Here are some photos from our little trip! I’m definitely staying again! Underground secure parking too!

Wonderful Anniversary stay! Property meticulously clean and well maintained. Hotel staff went above and beyond to exceed every expectation. Everyone from reservations, check in/out, concierge, valet, food & beverage manager, housekeeping, Guest Services, and Hotel Director were 100% focused to ensure our stay was perfect! Savannah, Meredith, Alexis, Tim, and Sandra were just a few of the staff who were exceptionally kind. Will deystay here again!

Pacific Terrace was nothing short of amazing! From working with Nicholas on setting up our blocked rooms for my birthday group, check in, the rooms, the grounds, the locations and most importantly the staff, everything beyond my expectations. The location of the hotel was steps from the beach and just a short walk to all the restaurants and bars! Highly recommend booking through this hotel, you won’t regret it. We even got a room upgrade and they decorated my suite.

Another perfect stay in Paradise! Pacific Terrace Hotel is the perfect hidden beach gem. Located right on Pacific Beach overlooking the ocean, it's a perfect place to relax or explore. Choosing the full ocean view rooms makes the experience even better, as you can sit on your balcony and watch the waves all day. The rooms also overlook the beautiful pool and terrace area, which is the place to be to hang out, eat and socialize.The steps down to the beach are literally steps away. The hotel is situated on the Pacific Beach boardwalk and is close to many many restaurants and bars, within walking distance. No vehicle is actually needed if you're staying in this area. Check out the hotels beach cam so you can experience the paradise. This hotel is always amazingly clean and the staff in all areas are helpful and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful and upgraded giving that perfect beach ambiance. I've been staying here yearly since 2019 and have not had a bad experience yet. Once you come you will not want to leave and this will become a regular and coveted part of your yearly vacation destinations.
