Got to park underground with our bikes on the suv. Room was comfortable.
Pool was small no hot tub. Buffet was good but congested for seating
Breakfast- bagels were a bit stale
Excellent breakfast
Good room and clean
Breakfast was OK
Location was good
This size of the room was very disappointing
It’s very close to Banff Trail station so it’s convenient for access to the city and the university. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
My room was on the station side and it shook every time a train went by. It was quite noisy as well. Amenities that had been used, such as mouthwash or coffee pods and cups, were not restocked. Some trash (meal leftovers) that had been left in the hallway by a guest was not cleaned up for two days.
Good staff, really good breakfast and also the stuff at the buffet.
Loved my stay at Aloft.
Downtown approachable via train-super convenient
The room was stuffy and dark and smelt like old socks, the window looked out into the parking lot which gave very little privacy and did not open to let air in. The toilet was wobbly and the shower didn't drain properly. The carpet was dingy and the headboard was peeling.. the pictures on the site of the rooms are very misleading I didn't even stay the second night I went to a different hotel.
Very poor lighting in the room; in main room there were only overhead lights from bed headboard; control switches were at the room door not beside the bed so you had to get out of bed to turn them off; light on desk did not give adequate light to do work. Room had no side chair when there was more than enough room for that; chair at desk was not an office chair.
The staff were very nice and helpful.
The room size was very generous
The room ventilation was extremely bad. I could smell bad air when entering my first room, they changed the room for me, in the begining it was OK, but then, it was not OK after.
Confort, salle de sport piscine
Location wise it was nice and close towards the highway to Banff which.
We got dirty stained sheets, the room smelled like urine, the parking lot was way too small and breakfast was not very good.
The room was neat.
The breakfast was terrible and the staff not really friendly.
The location was great for the event we went to.
The shower didn’t drain, and the lighting was poor
The location is great but parking was an issue on busy nights although the staff worked hard to find us onsite parking. The staff are hard working and the little restaurant was surprisingly good. The kids seemed to be enjoying the pool too.
The construction and design are not good, making operations a challenge: poor lighting in our room, uneven floors, a rat maze to get to our room, etc
Excellent staff (friendly and helpful), good bar and snack area, satisfactory gym. Rooms are simple but fine, although desk chair is much too short for the desk.
Rooms were dark, stuffy and had an odour (perhaps mould). Facility seems dimly lit, tired and in need of new carpet. On one morning, a truck was draining a horrible-smelling substance from the kitchen directly out the front door of the property. That left a terrible impression.
