Close to my event.
The staff( a lady wear no uniform dressed in pink head to toes)couldn’t find my reservation with my confirmation number,ID and confirmation emails and membership app open to them and argued with me tried to dismiss me . It took over 30 minutes for her to find my reservation. Instead of apologizing she still tried to argue with me.
The service and attention by Staff was more than worthy of the five stars I have it in the review. My experience began by working with Christina who picked up my phone call when I was trying to get a last-minute reservation to attend a conference. She was able to get me a room that worked out perfectly. Rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, towels are plentiful and my room was quiet: perfect for the tired traveler! Every request from the front desk was met with a cheerful, customer service oriented response. The conference I was attending was at the large conference center, which is a quick walk from the hotel. I highly recommend The Renaissance. Staff at every level seem to be well trained, to provide high-level attention to their customers.
Beds were comfortable
They charge de club level and it’s pretty bad, no alcohol serving included and the hor douvres time 5-7 pretty skimpy little bits of cheese and terrible spinach dip.
Never experienced that in any hotels I’ve stayed in the past.
This hotel may be fine if you are staying in a standard room. Do not waste your money on a larger suite. The air conditioning system is not sufficient to cool the room so they offer you a fan or a downgraded room. It was never below 75 degrees in my suite at over $600 at night. Can't open the blinds because it just gets hotter. Value for the money - you decide.
Central location, staff were accomodating
Nothing
I was pleasantly surprised with this visit. Unlike some Renaissance hotels, this one was well-kept, nicely appointed, and upbeat. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The lobby and the rooms had a little bit of kitchy artwork - just a little something distinctive. The housekeeping was solid. I was on the 8th floor and found the room plenty quiet. Room had a little fridge and a safe. The gym is on the small side, but good. Alot happening at the hotel bar. And I found the location really convenient. Also, it's minor, but there is a large supermarket, Fry, just two blocks away if you want a little snack for the room or (as I did) left without shave-cream. I would return.
It was good
Everything
Location
Room rather tired, needed more thorough cleaning and fresher decor.
Caleb is amazing. He accommodated me and my co workers seamlessly after a very long travel day and helped us with some issues we had with our booking
Centrally located, very lovely hotel. I was treated to welcoming customer service from check-in to the hotel bar as well as the staff in the special lounge. The atmosphere was welcoming, room was comfortable and I was made to feel at home during my first stay at this hotel in Phoenix. Thank you! I would recommend this hotel.
