The staff are amazing and so sweet and it’s just a great atmosphere
I have nothing bad to say
Nothing we didn’t stay there
It looks way more run down than the pictures and staff are rude
Building quaint and adorable, location, staff was friendly…
Asked for upper room months before but didn’t get one, the noise from upper floor was quite a bit, I guess thin, creaky floors. Asked for a different room but what was offered was not better, unfortunately.
It was amazing!!
Amazing!
The photos on website do an injustice. We actually did not stay and canceled on arrival due to mis information on parking and price and then reaching our room to find it beyond unsatisfactory. I have never had an issue in all of the years I have been using booking.com
Parking was horrible. The details of the parking were left out until arrival 700 miles from home. No mgmt on property to assist with the issue room had black soot smeared on sheets . Associate even wiped and sniffed to see if he could tell what it was . AC above bed was so full of condensation that it was leaky could tell it was painted over quite a bit. Big stain on ceiling but black stuff wasn’t from that. Asked for refund and was told that could not be done by the ones working was told to come back next day to speak to manager. Explained that was not possible that I needed it resolved immediately to book somewhere else. I was very understanding to the people at the counter, trying to help me they just did not have the authority . one of them finally gave me a number for the manager or general manager Wayne. I did contact him and speak with him and was told that I would not only be reimbursed my stay, but my booking fee, which normally is not refundable. Nonrefundable should be only allowed when a customer does not stay due to their own lack of responsibility to show up. It should not be when a place is not suitable or is booked with the wrong information . The associates on site were very nice. I was a little upset that the manager did call the counter back to find out who had given me the number and was very aggravated and loud with the associate who was just trying to help me I was still in the lobby when he called. I myself in a supervisor and I know we get time home, but in some situations, my associates do have to address me, and I would never yell at them for making a decision to take care of a customer. I was very disappointed because I love the old buildings and history but still feel strongly about the upkeep.
Close to French Quarter
Dirty, too old, does not clean room, towels are too old, room smell too bad
Great location in the French Quarter, very convenient to Bourbon Street. The common areas around the pool and in the lobby area were comfortable and convenient for sitting and relaxing with our family. The whole property has a very charming, historical feeling. The staff was very helpful.
This is an historic building. As such, the bathroom was very tight and not all the outlets in the room worked. The king bed mattress was in desperate need of replacement. The indentation in the mattress from many guest visits was extremely deep and did not make for a comfortable night. For the cost, it would have been nice to have a solid, supportive mattress.
Location and the history of the hotel.
Nothing
Locatie in french quarter
Slechte kamer. Klein.
Not much
Room was dirty toilet was nasty. Hair was everywhere the bed sheets looked dirty 😐
Das freundliche Personal, die gute Lage
Das Türschloss
