Eine gute Wahl für Salzburg-Touristen!
Pros:

Die Lage ist für einen Salzburgbesuch ideal. Die Bar zur Selbstbedienung und der Plattenspieler zum Selbstauflegen und das Wohnzimmer sind wirklich etwas Besonderes, was man sonst nicht antrifft.

Cons:

Im Zimmer war es von der Hitzewelle her noch relativ warm. Die Kosten für das Frühstück laden dazu ein, zum Bäcker um die Ecke zu gehen.

Die Lage des Hotels

Cons:

Das Hotel entspricht nicht einer 4Sterne-Kategorie. Keine Klimaanlage, das ist nicht akzeptabel. Die Ausstattung war sehr dürftig. Ein Teppichboden entspricht auch nicht mehr den heutigen Kriterien.

Charming hotel near the train station with many warm and comfortable spaces
Pros:

Rooms were very clean, nicely appointed and had just the right amount of space and amenities to meet traveler’s needs. The music room sitting area was a treat with a large array of classical music albums to select for listening pleasure. And the many options for refreshments (coffee/ tea to mineral water to wine) made for a lovely offering at the hotel. The staff were relaxed while managing to meet all needs of travelers. Would absolutely recommend!

I missed the free cancellation deadline and explained the reason: the person travelling with us has a serious heart condition, needs surgery, and the weather forecast for the coming days is +37°C.

In my practice, this is the first hotel that has been so strict and unwilling to make any exception in such a situation.

Three days before arrival, I contacted the hotel and requested a cancellation, but they refused to meet us halfway.

The fan did not solve the problem. We had to book another hotel for my friend. At night, the temperature in the room was +30°C or even higher.

I understand that I missed the free cancellation deadline by half a day, but the hotel could have shown some understanding, considering the guest’s health condition.

Salzburg is fantastic. Pity about the hotel.

The hotel was clean.

Cons:

The single rooms were tiny. They had no air conditioning & there was a heatwave and they faced the street where was was anti-social noise from night revellers & neighbours across the street playing piano until late at night & again early in the morning. Reception upon arrival & departure was unmanned. So, had to wait to check in & check out.

Pros:

Der Garten war ein Highlight in dem sonst sehr übersichtlichen Komfort für ein 4 Sterne Hotel.
Das kostenlose Kaffee- und Teeangebot war oft schon vor 18 Uhr abgeschaltet. Genau zu der Zeit, wenn man von einem Ausflug zurück kommt. Schade!
Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und dennoch nachts relativ ruhig.
Frühstück für 24 Euro hatten wir nicht gebucht.

Friendly Austrian hotel with lots of amenities
Pros:

Great location, quiet with homely feel. Tea and coffee available in the lounge plus a lovely garden space and honestly bar. Room was small but clean and comfy

Very hot and no air con although there is a fan
