My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at Equinox Hotel New York. The location was superb, the hospitality was exceptional, and the amenities were everything we could ask for. It truly is the perfect hotel for anyone who loves fitness, wellness, and a little luxury.

The room was beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the spacious bathroom, the high-tech toilet, the thoughtful amenities, and the exceptionally comfortable bed. The sleep system helped us rest so well after long days exploring the city.

The minibar was honestly the minibar of my dreams! Stocked with recovery and wellness essentials and practically everything a fitness lover could wish for. The gym was incredible, and the Equinox Club itself was such a beautiful experience.

The butlers and hotel staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay. Staying at Equinox Hotel was one of the highlights of our New York trip, and I truly think everyone should experience it for themselves. We would definitely come back!

I am loving my stay here! The location is fantastic, the staff members are so kind, and the amenities are extraordinary. I highly recommend getting a massage. I got a signature 60-minute massage with Sheena and she was delightful.

I stayed at your hotel last weekend, and overall I had an incredible experience. This is honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything about the hotel felt luxurious. The service was excellent, the room was beautiful and extremely high-end, the view was stunning, and I loved the gym, spa, restaurants, and every other part of the property. It truly was an amazing stay.

However, I would like to share one disappointing experience with the pool service because I believe it deserves the management team’s attention.

I was relaxing on a pool daybed when a staff member informed me that I could only use it for two hours because there was a long waiting list. Although I was surprised, I respected the policy and left when my time was up. I then asked to be added back to the waiting list for another daybed.

I waited from around 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.—about five hours—before I finally received a text message saying that a daybed was available. I had gone to the gym and saw the message shortly afterward, but when I returned, another staff member told me I was 12 minutes late and that my reservation had been given away. He said I would have to join the waiting list again.

I tried to explain the situation and politely asked if there was any flexibility, but he showed no understanding, simply repeated that my spot was gone, and walked away. I found this interaction very rude and completely unexpected at a luxury hotel.

I understand that the pool is open to both hotel guests and members of the public, and I respect that. However, I strongly believe there should be a dedicated area or a certain number of daybeds reserved for hotel guests. Guests paying around $2,000 per night expect a premium experience, especially when it comes to enjoying the hotel’s amenities.

Many people choose a luxury resort because they want to spend the day relaxing by the pool. Unfortunately, I felt like I was treated no differently than someone who wasn’t staying at the hotel. During my stay, I also overheard several other hotel guests expressing the same frustration.

I hope the management team takes this feedback seriously. My stay was wonderful in every other way, but the pool management and the way I was treated by that staff member did not reflect the high standards of the rest of the hotel.

I truly hope you will consider reserving more pool seating for hotel guests in the future. It would make a significant difference and better match the luxury experience that guests are paying for.

Overall, I still loved my stay and would like to return, but I hope this issue will be addressed so future guests can enjoy the same exceptional experience throughout every part of the hotel.

had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything I needed.

We loved this hotel and amenities. The staff was beyond wonderful! Spa services were great and Victoria and Gui at the concierge were amazing! Can’t wait to come back.

We had an incredible experience with the Equinox. I've been to MANY hotels for travel across a couple decades of my career and this will stand out as one of the best ever (if not the best). And I'm a tough critic! Naomi, Sharilyn, Richard, Jesus, the ENTIRE bell staff, - every single person I encountered was accommodating to our needs. We had plenty of non standard requests but with clear communication before and during, they were all incredibly enthusiastic. I would absolutely LOVE to stay there again and hope to in the future.

I would not recommend this hotel. This is not a 5 star hotel experience. The room itself and amenities were fine, however, it was a very disappointing experience. I paid over $1,000 per night and they said they will not clean my room unless I request service because I paid a corporate rate. They also charged me for a meal at the restaurant when in fact I didn't even step foot in their restaurant. I had to spend time disputing that charge and they took that off the bill, however, when I checked the credit card bill, they charged an extra $100 for bar charges when I didn't even touch the bar. The service was terrible, the place is loud and the experience overall is definitely not 5 stars. There are too many good hotels in NYC -- don't waste your time here.

My fiancé and I recently stayed at the Equinox Hotel Hudson Yards, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional as always!

A special thank you to Nathan and also Nicole, the manager of Electric Lemon, for helping me plan the most beautiful rooftop birthday brunch to celebrate my fiancé. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the setting overlooking the city made the day feel incredibly special.

What truly set this experience apart was the level of hospitality and genuine care we received. Upon arrival, we found champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting in our room, which was such a thoughtful surprise. To make our stay even more memorable, the team gifted us a matching Tiffany & Co. cup set to celebrate our upcoming wedding, a gesture that completely touched our hearts.

The service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and personalized in a way that is increasingly rare. Nathan and Nicole went above and beyond to create a celebration we’ll never forget.
