PortoBay Flores

We had a fantastic stay at PortoBay Flores. It’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for exploring Porto, with so much within easy walking distance.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay — genuinely friendly and extremely helpful. They gave us some great restaurant recommendations and arranged reservations for us, which we really appreciated.

We were visiting for my birthday and came back to our room to find a lovely birthday cake waiting for me. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch and made the stay feel very special.

Our room was lovely and comfortable, and the hotel has a relaxed, elegant feel despite being right in the heart of the city.

A beautiful hotel, brilliant location and, most importantly, wonderful staff. We would definitely stay at PortoBay Flores again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location 5 minutes walk to the river and main attractions. Located in one of the nicest streets in Porto. Lovely bedroom which was modern and cosy. Excellent breakfast and staff were exceptionally friendly especially in the bar and reception area. Classy hotel with relaxed atmosphere. Spotlessly clean and good value for money.

Excellent hotel in a lovely location, all staff were very helpful and friendly, we were based on the seventh floor of the new block and the room was outstanding, great views of the local area, and so quiet

Excellent location for the majority of Porto’s attractions, rooms are luxurious and very quiet, staff very friendly and attentive, and also happy in their work, when was the last time you heard a cleaner singing to themselves whilst carrying out their work

Beautiful hotel and perfect location for shops and restaurants. Short walk to the river for more restaurants but quite a steep climb back. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and pointed out where we needed to visit on our arrival. The Art Deco inspired Majestic Cafe is beautiful inside but expect a queue to get seated. We took a tour on the Blue Bus but you need to take your own ear phones, as the ones provided aren’t very good and you get lots of interference. We passed the beach which looked beautiful and worth hopping on and hopping off for and we wished we had spent time there. When you approach the river it is very vibrant with quite a number of street artists, but if you prefer a quieter time cross the bridge where there are more restaurants to choose from. We dined at the Calem Restaurant and managed to get a seat overlooking the river. The meals we chose were delicious, so much so we ate twice there enjoying the fish and chicken dishes and it was lovely to watch the activities on the river. All in all we are so pleased we stayed at the PortoBay 5* hotel which was well worth the money and we will definitely return.

Porto Bay Flores is located in the heart of the city with excellent access to restaurants and shops as well as the river. The staff was great and very helpful with sights and restaurants. Highly recommended.
