BAD! Would not have stayed here if we knew what it would be like!!!!! UNWASHED SHEETS!!! BLOODY STAINS IN MY BED!! Room felt like a cave! 100% unacceptable. Would never stay here again and hate the fact that I had to even if it was only for one night!! They also had weird cookies left out on the dresser in a bag addressed to whoever sherjal is. Made me think that he checked out of the room one day early and instead of doing a deep clean- aka WASHING THE SHEETS LITERALLY THE BARE MINIMUM- they just remade the bed with used (and STAINED) sheets!! Unacceptable for the price that I had to pay. NEVER STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HOLIDAY RUINED

Shame about the scaffolding on the room with the view. Otherwise the hotel is nice.
Pros:

Great location. Good size for central location and staff were nice.

Cons:

A few little details weren’t great like broken door catch (bathroom not main door) and ink stains on bedsheet - not major but expected more for the price. The main issue was that we paid for a castle view and we had scaffolding obstructing a lot of it.

Below expectations.
Pros:

The location was very good, not far from the city center.

Cons:

The hotel was clad in scaffolding at the time of our stay. Our room was next to the building work storage area and the workman's lift to the top which resulted in noise in the early morning and late afternoon, and the windows were obscured so there was no view although we had booked a castle view. Breakfast was a very basic buffet.

Great rooms, location, and staff!
Pros:

The Marriott Courtyard in Oxford city center was a perfect location for our three night stay in Oxford. We found the staff to be professional, efficient, and just very nice and pleasant to deal with. After a minor hitch with our room (no one’s fault) the staff went out of their way to make everything right and then some. They made us feel like valued customers and their efforts were greatly appreciated. We found our rooms to be clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast (should you choose it) was quite good, with an option for eggs made to order if desired. The location is super convenient and very walkable for touring all the highlights of Oxford. We would happily stay here again if we have the chance, and highly recommend to others.
