Pros:

Friendly staff, very clean common areas and room. Excellent location and a decent price. Free water as well as coffee and tea in the lobby was very welcome. Excellent view of the lake!

Cons:

Honestly the only thing I don't like is the shift to refillable toiletry items (shampoo, lotion, etc) that many hotels are making. The idea is good but I will not use them as I don't trust other guests to not mess with them.

Pros:

Like being around all the shops and restaurants.

Cons:

Way to noisy, the locals drive their loud trucks and young adults race,Rev up their ninja bikes,all day up to 11:00 at night,I wanted a nice quiet weekend,I could of stayed home and listened to the same noise.No traffic police visible down in canal Park whatsoever.Will not be staying at canal Park again.

We depend on a good experience here and we received it. Thoroughly enjoyed the staff, pet fee stiff
Pros:

The location is superb, we love the lake walk. Breakfast was excellent. Mostly, we very much appreciate the welcoming, friendly and accommodating staff.

Cons:

We would stay more frequently, this is our favorite spot in Duluth. The pet fee is prohibitive however.

Great location and friendly staff in a clean environment
Pros:

Location was great and the desk staff and breakfast attendant weee friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There was a lot of door slamming on our floor. The room doors are heavy (good for noise control) and they slammed when entering or exiting a room. Not sure if it was an air handler problem as they were working in the hallway
