Pros:

Hervorragende Lage direkt an den Petronas Towers und dem KLCC Park.
-Suria KLCC und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.
-Schöner Ausgangspunkt, um Kuala Lumpur zu erkunden.
-Zimmer insgesamt sauber.
-Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit.
-Nach meiner Beschwerde wurde letztendlich doch noch eine nette Überraschung organisiert.
-Der Blick aus unserem zweiten Zimmer war sehr schön.

Cons:

- Preis von ca. 740–750 € für 4 Nächte war aus meiner Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt.
- Infinity-Pool war kleiner als erwartet und nichts Besonderes.
- Zimmer zeigte Abnutzungsspuren (u. a. verschmutzte Fugen und ältere Möbel).
- Bei Ankunft keine Aufmerksamkeit für unsere Hochzeitsreise oder den Geburtstag meiner Frau, obwohl beides beim Check-in erwähnt wurde.
- Erst nach erneutem Ansprechen an der Rezeption wurde reagiert.
- Ein versprochener Rückruf erfolgte zunächst nicht.
- Erst nachdem ich am nächsten Morgen erneut zur Rezeption gegangen bin, wurde eine Überraschung organisiert.
- Ein Mitarbeiter wirkte auf mich so, als würde er mir die Schuld an der Situation geben, anstatt Verständnis zu zeigen.
- Frühstück mit 20–25 € pro Person für das Angebot zu teuer.
- Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse hätte ich insgesamt einen aufmerksameren und persönlicheren Service erwartet.
- Die Lage ist zwar hervorragend, allein rechtfertigt sie den hohen Zimmerpreis jedoch nicht.
-> Insgesamt blieb der Aufenthalt deutlich hinter meinen Erwartungen an ein Mandarin Oriental zurück.

Älteres Hotel welches durch sein grandioses Personal positiv auffällt

Grandioses Personal, welches einen jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abliest.
Super Lage direkt an den Petronas Türmen und neben einem Einkaufszentrum wo es auch viele Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten gibt.
Der Pool und das Fitnessstudio sind überwältigend

Cons:

Das Hotel ist halt schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekkommen. Man merkt es an der Badewanne (einige kleinere Dellen), Duschbrause fixiert in der Wand oder der Ringhörigkeit (vor allem bei den Zimmertüren).
