Absolutely amazing stay here, the view from our room was astounding!! Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant for dinner was perfect! Highly recommended. Clean, comfortable and friendly.

The staff and location were v good. The location of the restaurant on the waterfront was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful
The room had no terrace, which we knew when we booked, but smelt a little damp. Some of h pillows were very hard and heavy.
The restaurant food was v mixed. Some was fine some was almost inedible.
We had a lake view from our balcony and loved the private beach area just outside our room. The breakfast options were good and the room was lovely. The hotel staff also organised a private taxi to take us to the train station when we checked out which was a big relief when lugging baggage, making the whole experience of getting to our next destination so much more stress free. We arrived by ferry from Como which took about 1.5 hours to Bellano but we later discovered that there is a train station in Bellano direct from Milan so that would have been a much better and quicker option (that's the travel agents mistake) but loved our day trip into Bellagio and so many other magnificent towns on the gorgeous lake.
They seemed a little short staffed when we arrived with the reception staff doubling up on restaurant duty but it might have just been a busy day as we were unable to get a booking at the onsite restaurant (our fault for not booking in advance).
Location, cleanliness, staff, restaurant for dinner all exceptional
Nothing - it is beautiful. If I was going to be really really picky (and we were here 7 nights) the option of having Netflix would have been beneficial for those days or nights of heavy rain but watching the thunderstorms were very enjoyable
The location directly on Lake Como and the lake views were beautiful. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended.
Room 9 was nothing like the impression given by the photos or description. We paid €694 for two nights and the standard was frankly more like a €50 hostel than a €350-a-night Lake Como hotel.
The room was extremely dated, with old furniture and a bed that was hard as nails. We had two single beds pushed together with two separate single duvets, despite the room being described as having a queen bed. The shower flooded the bathroom, which I have included in the attached photos.
Room 9 is right next to the kitchen, so we had constant banging and clattering, staff shouting and cooking smells. The large kitchen extraction/ventilation system is basically on the balcony and makes a constant racket, so forget sitting outside and peacefully enjoying the lake.
The lakeside terrace was another disappointment. There were no sun loungers and not even comfortable seating, just hard café-style tables and chairs. Again, very different from the relaxing lakeside experience we believed we were booking.
Food availability was also not as advertised. We specifically booked this hotel because the restaurant was advertised as being open from 12:30–21:30. When we arrived, we were told there was no food available whatsoever during the day and the restaurant only opened from 19:30–21:30.
We were there for our anniversary and dinner was a complete disaster. Poor service, wrong drinks, items unavailable after we had ordered and cold food. We eventually gave up and left without eating. Staff themselves told us they were understaffed, there was no manager and the owner wasn’t there. It showed.
We had had enough by the following morning and checked out at 8am, despite having already paid for another night. We simply weren’t prepared to endure a second night.
When we left, we were assured there would be communication regarding a refund for the unused second night and compensation for the night we did stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Angelo. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful hotel and location - could not have asked for more.

The housekeeping staff were negligent. Also the restaurant staff who brought the wrong food for my husband.

Beautiful location, staff was very helpful and the restaurant food was amazing. Loved the hot tub! We had a balcony room and listening to the waves hit the sore was incredible.

Our room was in a separate building beside the hotel and not at the standard of the rest of the property. It was overcrowded with a double bed and two singles and there was little room to get around. Size wise it would make an excellent double room. The furniture and flooring were well worn.
We had such an incredible stay here. The hospitality was truly exceptional, and Angelo and Sanae went above and beyond to make us feel welcome throughout our visit.
The views are absolutely stunning, and Bellano itself is a hidden gem on Lake Como. It was the perfect place to stay—beautiful, peaceful, and a wonderful home base for exploring the lake.
I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to any of my friends or family. We had a phenomenal experience and genuinely hope to return someday. If you’re considering staying here, book it—you won’t regret it!

Accueil chaleureux, l’ensemble de l’hôtel est d’une propreté exemplaire et il est très bien entretenu. Parking agréable et sécurisé devant l’entrée de la réception. Le personnel est aux petits soins et engage volontiers la conversation. Nous avons adoré la terrasse au bord de l’eau avec une vue magnifique!

Location on the water and close proximity to town to walk to bars and restaurants! The staff were amazing and the cooking class with Chef was excellent!
