A must stay at this value for money Motel
Pros:

I love EVERYTHING about this Motel the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. I love the location you are close to China Town the Trams are right at the door. And the BIG PLUS is your within walking distance to Theatres and shopping venues

There is NOTHING to dislike about this Motel

Pleasant stay but a few things can be improved.
Pros:

Location was great.

Cons:

Hot air con first night, but was remedied by second night.
One working Lift being put on exclusive for particular guests. This was not acceptable when only one lift was working.
Room was not serviced during entire stay (4 nights). 2nd day, alerted front desk in morning to request a change of bedding due to a spilt bottle of water (my fault). Was concerned about damaging the mattress. Got back that night and not done. Slept in wet bedding.

Excellent customer service as always. Perfect location right in the city, clean rooms and comfy beds.

Cons:

The air conditioning was very loud! I experienced this during my last stay but thought it could be a one off. But yet again, in another room the air conditioning was very loud. I turned the aircon off so I could fall asleep. During the hotter months I will probably stay elsewhere which is unfortunate as I like the hotel. I would rate the hotel 10/10 if the air conditioning wasn't so loud.

Not great at all, would not recommend.
Pros:

Location was good. Central to most things and worked for all my meetings etc.. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly but not much they could do about room size, no options to change or upgrade as aparantly were full.

Cons:

Room facilities.. very small, lifts were terrible, everyday one lift seemed to not work for part of the day.. the bathroom was the smallest shoebox, worst experience I have ever had for a Hotel. The Aircon/Heating was up and down couldnt get the temp to regulate well..

Pros:

They give me room connected to other room they we fully booked I book this room from 2 days before arrive
Second near the rabbish bin I didn’t even sleep plus people or worker talking loudly on the hallway I didn accept it at all and if I could return my money I would but now I learn my lesson Mercure very bad if always this way

Clean and good location to the centre of Melbourne.
Pros:

The location and cleanliness of the room was good. IT was quiet and beds were comfortable.

Cons:

There could have been more room for room luggage or a luggage rack. WE were charged extra for taxes on the day we left which we were not told about. This should be included in the price of the room. I was very upset about that.

Great location, too far to park car.
Pros:

Room was not cleaned for the two night stay. Parking vouchers did not work. Reported the first occasion. Hotel stated it my fault. Second voucher did not work either for parking. Expensive 28 dollars per night. Casual parkers pay 21 dollars per night.

Cons:

Room service, Distance to park car, no place to check in,had to drag bags in the rain to check in.
