Location was excellent. Only 1 block from the Mall and so central to everything else in the city.
The view from our room was spectacular especially at night with the city lights.
The room was very tired and looked scruffy, with paint peeling off the towel stand, the skirting boards and wallpaper scuffed and marked, the paint beginning to peel off the ceiling above the shower.
The water pressure in the shower was terrible. Almost a dribble. Very disappointing.
And the service when we were trying to check out and get our bags to our car was terrible. Not enough staff and just not available. For the hundreds of dollars we spent on the two nights, I was very disappointed. It was for our wedding anniversary and we certainly didn't feel like it was a special place to stay.

How close it is to the shops
The room had a joining door for those who book two rooms. We could hear the children in the next room like they were in our room.
The central location of the Pullman is great, I always stay here when in Melbourne. The Pullman is clean, staff are friendly, amenities are great and the rooms are clean, comfortable and soundproof which is great.
Location is everything. Rooms were well appointed.
Television reception sucked big time. Rooftop bar not open on a Sunday on a long weekend.
Location and the facilities
No house cleaning at all. No complimentary water in rooms. The TV didn’t work. No compensation for this and the hotel was 5 star!?
Great central location
The floor didn’t appear to be cleaned, or vacuumed.. rubbish behind the couch under the beds and the last guest false fingernails on the floor 🤮.. my young daughter picked them up and put them on the table
Location was great. Staff were wonderful and very helpful and pleasant. Beds very comfortable.
Breakfast should be included for the price. And the shower pressure was terrible.
Have previously stayed next door at the Mercure with friends. I’m not a fan and was delighted with my decision to upgrade to the Pullman
Noisy from my room on the third floor from construction and Tram bells!

Room was great, very well appointed.
I would have liked to have controlled the lighting more, as in more control over individual lights rather than having everything on /off at once. The rooftop bar was also closed due to the public holiday, which I would have loved to have been able to access.
