Overall a positive stay just needed a biscuit!
Pros:

On arrival I was impressed with the internal decor of the bar and restaurant and was impressed with the newly refurbished room. The staff were friendly and the evening meal was good.

Cons:

The road was quite noisy outside our window, oddly the cold tap ran hot during the night which meant I couldn’t get a drink when needed and no biscuits with the tea facilities! 😫

Pros:

Our room had fresh clean appearance, a good roomy bathroom, nice toiletries and fluffy towels.
All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Walking distance to shops.
We enjoyed our breakfast which was reasonably priced.
We were able to park near the door.
The prize was good.

An absolute gem of a place
Pros:

Everything. The rooms were beautiful and modern, large comfortable beds. It was hot due to weather and fans which hold ice were in the rooms, however, slightly small so not overly effective.

Food was exceptional and was so tasty and great quality.

Staff were friendly and helpful, Chloe behind the bar was fantastic and worked so hard.

Absolutely loved the place and definitely going to come back.

Pros:

The staff are fantastic and so helpful. Food is very nice too and in a great location for town.

Great value and quality - would happily return
Pros:

Recently updated, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, good value and high quality bar and restaurant.

Cons:

Road noise meant we had to keep windows closed but after that didn’t disturb sleep. Due to hotel being very quiet, service at breakfast could have been more responsive.
