The hotel and restaurant is really nice, however, when I stayed in room 1, I was told by the check-in staff of 2 problems. 1: it was incredibly hot and they had provided one of those fans that use ice cubes to cool. This wasn’t sufficient. 2: the shower had leaked and soaked the carpet. It was still extremely damp during my stay and made the room feel stuffy with the heat. Needless to say, it’s just a bit grim on your bare feet. No refund was given.
Room 1 had a leaking shower that had soaked the carpet. It was also the temperature of the sun despite the ambient temperature being mild.
The staff were excellent and the rooms very clean and comfortable
The rooms really needed air conditioning. So hot and had to keep windows closed at night because of traffic noise

Slightly slow service at breakfast, would be no good if you were in a rush or working. Although we managed to park on the car park the spaces are very tight when it's busy.

The room was too close to the main road and therefore noisy. More adequate sound proofing would help. Had to leave the window open for ventilation which increased the traffic noise.
