The location right in centre of Monmouth is amazing, views from room, brilliant. Staff we dealt with lovely.
The room we had was very disappointing. Dirty - needs a good clean. Consideration of furniture to space, too many chairs and large furniture for size of room, could be so much better with some thought and modernization. Bathroom basic. Beds never made in 3 nights, little to no room service.

The location was great. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was a great size and attractively decorated.
It was not a problem for us but it was slightly noisy being an older building, we could hear the street outside and some noise from other guests.

Everything easy and straightforward
Basic but had everything we need. The building is historic with a lot of character. The pub itself is excellent with good food. The staff were very friendly. We didn’t have breakfast but can recommend the Alex Gooch bakery down the road.
