They made my birthday so special! 😍
Pros:

I'm so grateful to have found this place! Literally everyone who works here and we have come across was extremely friendly and helpful! ❤️

I asked for a river view because we were celebrating my birthday,  and they gave us a room with a gorgeous view of the river and the lake on a high floor.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was no pet fee. We brought our pup with us and he was so welcomed.
Will definitely come back!!

Underwhelming view compared to pictures I saw of the lounge.
Pros:

The members lounge was not what the pictures showed.
But our server/host, Connie, was amazing!! She went above and beyond!!👍

Terrible check-in experience. Checkout was unpleasant as well. Had to be on the line 3 times to check in. There was destination charge. But the credit linked to the destination charge was only given to one room while two rooms were booked. We didn’t have a chance to use the credit, it was not clearly explained how to use the credit and other benefits. This hotel seems to be stuck in 1980s. Check in and out should be no brainer with modern technology.

Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk Experience
Pros:

I typically don’t leave reviews, but I need to draw attention to Phil & Sara from the bar. They’ve made my experience and stay exceptional! They provided great recommendations and especially Sara may laughs!

Theyre clearly dedicated snd work hard to provief an exceptional giest experience.

It was nice and very clean

Cons:

The parking garage area is very creepy and is only being monitored by surveillance I was a little nervous being down there . An I didn’t like being on the 28th floor the elevator ride was not my favorite

This would be a nice place for a hotel
Pros:

The location is lovely but....attending a large conference where elevator buttons did not all work, a centrally located escalator was broken and not touched by anyone for repair the entire time we were there. Also, since when does a hotel host a conference and not have an operational restaurant open after1230? We wanted lunch and were promptly informed the restaurant would be closing in 20 minutes. The wait staff acted like they were doing us a favor to serve us. Apparently the hotel does not want to make money serving meals to hotel guests. We had access to the club room which frequently ran out of breakfast fruit, other staples. Perhaps the most annoying thing was the AV service. A significant amount of planning occurred for multiple presentations occurring simultaneously and I know of at least 3 sessions where the meeting could not start on time due to lack of setup of AV equipment. Then when AV arrived, they were defensive, rude to the meeting organizer and required 3-4 people to get thinks up and running. Perhaps this function is yet another outsourced job where saving a dollar causes lack of quality.
I realize it is Chicago but this was not, in my opinion, money well spent.
This is not what I expect from Marriott

Amazing / Friendly Staff - Great Stay - Location, Location, Location!

Thank You Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk for a wonderful stay. This Hotel Hosted our 2026 - American Occupational Health Conference; - I can't offer anything but praise for this Marriott Brand Hotel - Thank You! - Customer Service - Particularly from every one of the "Lead Doormen" working the Hotel was "On Point" - Staff in the Hotel, especially the Front Door Team - were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and willing to ensure guest satisfaction. Thank you all for extending me such hospitality. Housekeeping was excellent and was provided daily, which is a rarity these days. I arrived to immediately find the extra foam pillows which I had requested. Internet was lighting fast and modern and remained operating - uninterrupted through my entire stay. I was really amazed at the quality of my room; - The room was clean and in order; - In room entertainment system was modern and offered quite many selections and connections. Staying in a major City - such as a Chicago can be pricey - But, Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk - delivered an A+ product. Amazing Location - In the center of EVERYTHING - Again - My thanks to the amazing Doorman Team. A+
