We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with our family of seven and found both positives and areas that could be improved.
The suite itself was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well, and the room was quiet despite the hotel’s proximity to the airport. Parking was convenient and included at no extra charge, Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay, and the staff were friendly and responsive. The common areas were clean and well maintained, although we found the fragrance used throughout the hotel to be quite strong.
The breakfast was excellent when it was fully stocked, offering a great variety of hot and cold options. The outdoor pool was a nice amenity, although the water was quite cold.
Unfortunately, for approximately $700 per night, several aspects of the stay felt below expectations. The kitchenette was surprisingly under-equipped for a suite designed for longer stays. It included only three knives, three forks, and two spoons, and there was no dish soap, dishwasher detergent or dish towels—only a single dishcloth. Preparing meals for a family was unnecessarily difficult. Especially as the kitchen was meant to offset the cost of having to eat out by preparing our own meals (which then we had to order in) and justify the cost of the room.
The bathrooms also felt dated and less clean than we expected. The tubs appeared to have been refinished with paint, giving them a worn appearance that felt more like a budget motel than a hotel in this price range.
Our biggest disappointment was breakfast on our final morning. We arrived about 30 minutes before breakfast ended, but many items had run out and were not replenished. As a result, three-quarters of our family had little or nothing to eat before a full day of travel.
Overall, this hotel has many strengths, including comfortable beds, spacious suites, a convenient location, free parking, and friendly staff. However, the poorly equipped kitchenette, dated bathrooms, and inconsistent breakfast service made it difficult to feel that the stay offered good value for the price we paid.
Location is super close to the airport and a short walk to Starfire Stadium. The breakfast options change every day and are very appetizing.
Delicious breakfast, great room with kitchette with full size fridge, spacious area and clean grounds. Great for sport tournaments in the area.
Nothing, it was great.
Horrible customer service. Rooms are dingy and smell like cheap air freshener. They overbooked, I needed to find a new hotel at 10pm, and wouldnt refund me
Very close to the airport - but not too close.
There was no communication when our room became unavailable due to water damage issues. They opted to find us a room in a neighboring hotel, who ended up not having a room for us. Eventually we ended up in a handicapped accessible room at the Homewood Suites, which would have been a better first solution to begin with.
Staff was great as always. Very accommodating.
The king suite
Cozy long term stay with everything we need. Very clean and homey feel with beautiful courtyard and lobby to hang out. Great location with a river surrounding and a short walk to the shopping center and restaurants.
From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel completely at home. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly, personable, and genuinely funny — the kind of people who make you smile after a long travel day.
Liana is always willing to help, whether it was answering questions, offering suggestions, or just taking the time to have a great conversation. It never felt forced — you can tell she truly enjoys what she does and cares about her guests.
It’s rare to find a hotel where the service stands out this much. The atmosphere felt welcoming, relaxed, and authentic. We’ll absolutely be back — not just for the hotel itself, but for the amazing people who work there.
Liana is the best!
These folks treated me like gold. Greatly enjoyed my stay.
Our check in experience was not great. Did the online check in and asked about the possibility of an early arrival. We received acknowledgment of the request but no further response. When we arrived at the hotel our requested room was not available nor were there any other of that type available. Once we got to our room the fire alarm was chirping! Two calls and finally a trip to the front desk and we were offered a room in another building for the night. The front desk person that arrived to escort us was apologetic and most of all kind. We were late for breakfast the next morning and it was closing down when we got there. The attendant overheard our problem and offered to make us a plate. Hot food not just cold cereal or toast. Again, such a kind thing to do!! Our room is nothing special, a few unwanted creepy crawlers so keep your food sealed or in the fridge. Plenty of hot water for 2. Breakfast has actually been quite good, bring your own brown sugar if you like it in your oatmeal! 🤗 So far, I have big thank yous to Angel at the front desk and Lucky in the kitchen!!
Hotel was clean, bed was good but don’t stay here if you enjoy a hot shower in the morning. Had a cold shower the first morning, let the front desk know and they told me point blank—there’s never hot water in the mornings, if you want a hot shower wait until the afternoon… we are in the area frequently to visit family member at assisted living home in the area but we won’t stay here again.
Great hotel! Ran out of hot water almost every shiwer, but not a big issue. The best part was the weekend security guard Mike. He is a breath of fresh air...a friendly, funny guy that makes you feel like family!
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. It was winter so we did not try out the pool. No hot tub.
We were there for 4 days and they never serviced the room. Not even fresh towels. I asked for the room to be serviced, but they didn't do it.
The breakfast was typical, but cold. Even though we arrived early, the eggs were watery and cold, as was the sausage and bacon.
