Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, and the hotel’s forest location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Amazing breakfast
However, the biggest downside was the service at the bar and restaurant. Friday and Saturday were very busy, with approximately 25 people waiting around the bar. We had to wait 10–12 minutes just to place an order and then another 15 minutes after paying, even for something as simple as getting a takeout box. A request like that should take less than a minute, so these delays significantly affected our evenings at the hotel.
Because there are no other restaurants or places to relax within walking distance, guests depend heavily on the hotel’s bar and kitchen. Otherwise, you have to drive somewhere else. For this reason, it is especially important for the hotel to provide efficient service, even during busy periods.
We also had an unpleasant experience on Sunday. At check-in, we were told that the kitchen was open until 11:00 p.m., and the same hours were listed on the menu. However, when we came downstairs at approximately 9:40 p.m. to order something, we were told that the bar was already closed. Nobody had informed us about the change in hours, and we were left without an option to order food.

⭐ 1/5 — A Very Unpleasant Experience
Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We had to be moved to THREE different rooms because the sheets and pillows were dirty and had a very strong, unpleasant smell of sweat. We also found trash left behind by previous guests in the trash cans and even a false eyelash stuck to the nightstand, which clearly shows that the rooms were not being properly cleaned between guests.
By the time we were given the third room, it was already around 2:00 a.m., and we were exhausted from having to move from room to room. We asked the person at the front desk to come with us to the room so he could personally see the conditions and understand that we were not exaggerating or making this up.
His attitude was very unprofessional and arrogant. After seeing the condition of the room, he took the dirty pillows and threw them on the floor next to the door. He then removed the false eyelash from the nightstand using toilet paper. The way he handled the entire situation was disrespectful and showed a complete lack of professionalism.
Since this was already our third room and it was around 2:00 a.m., we told him that we did not want to be moved again. We simply asked if he could please change the sheets. He said yes and left. We waited approximately 20 minutes, but he never came back.
We finally called the front desk from the room, and he told us there was no staff available to assist us. We then asked if he could at least provide us with clean sheets, and he responded that there were NO MORE CLEAN SHEETS AVAILABLE.
We ended up having to spend the night under these conditions. On top of the serious cleanliness issues, the staff was unfriendly, arrogant, and showed very little willingness to resolve such a basic hygiene problem.
When you pay for a hotel room, the absolute minimum you should expect is a clean bed, clean sheets and pillows, a properly cleaned room, and respectful treatment from the staff.
We had stayed here before, and this was our first bad experience. After a 4 hour drive, as we were unloading our car on to a cart, an employee came over, not to help us but to say “you know you are not allowed to park here.” Checking in, we were not recognized as Gold Elite members and not told that the TVs were not working in the hotel. When we called the front desk about TVs the next morning we were told in a snippy manner that they were working on it. The HVAC system was noisy, some outlets in the room were not working, and as were leaving, a piece of the door frame fell off.
No Microwave in room
I didn’t have breakfast. The buffet smelled good and a little pricey at 28 dollars a person.
The rooms are clean but outdated.
Great location and facilities were amazing
Spa not open
Booked a large group at this hotel. The hotel is great but many ppl in my group complained about the hard beds. Love how quiet the area is, and the bar / restaurant was good. Would stay again but the beds really are VERY hard. The rooms are not huge, but clean and quiet. Cell service is not the best, but they have Wifi.
Not much.
Useless rude staff.
Zero customer service skills.
Lage und Personal top!
Swimming Pool braucht mehr Aufmerksamkeit und ein Update.
Stayed at this hotel during a special event when hotel was charging $500/night.
On first day, left room at 10:00am. When returned at approximately 5:00pm to changed clothes, room had not been serviced. Called the main desk and told that the room needed service and I was leaving for dinner. Told it would be serviced. When returned that evening room had not been serviced.
If you going to charge a premium rate, you should provide premium service.
The service at Princeton Marriott at Forestal failed. Instead paying a premium, you should just go to a Motel 6.
