We had a really nice stay at the Hampton Inn. Everything was very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. My grandson especially enjoyed the pool, which was a big hit! Breakfast was decent and had enough options to get our day started. Overall, it was a comfortable, pleasant stay and we would definitely stay here again.

There are already so many positive reviews for the W Des Moines Hampton Inn so I am just agreeing/backing up all of those great reviews. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel. Everything was wonderful as far as a clean room, comfy bed and excellent breakfast. The staff is friendly and they do a wonderful job keeping up the hotel and a plentiful breakfast.

We've stayed at this location multiple times over the years. Lilia, the attendant at breakfast, remembers us every time, even when it's been a year between visits. The breakfast is always wonderful as well.

We checked in after midnight with two dogs and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful to get us to our dog friendly room. Room was very clean and the staff very polite. We will stay there again and not because of the convenience off the interstate we travel a lot but because of the good experience we had.

Hotel is dirty. Clean linen is buried under mounds of dirty laundry on housekeeping cart. No one wipes up spills. Coffees are mixed; pouring from one partially used pot into another with a different label. Coffee is mud filled with grounds. No oatmeal nor eggs with cheese at breakfast although labels are there—dishes are empty. None in the back either. Management’s explication: we have to reorder!! No milk for cereal. I was told to use the half and half!’
Message light blinked all night and person at the front desk just said that there is nothing that she can do; “it happens often”! Breakfast area is not clean. Manager promised adjustment to bill and then gave us a $1 discount. I called to complain and was then told that she would try to give us $15 dollars off. Nothing has been credited to the account yet.

We didn't choose this location, it chose us do to family reunion arrangements. It was a great choice because of it's central location to the reunion plans, but the best part is the friendliness of all the staff. From the point of check in everyone had a smile, eye contact and a nice greeting. It made us feel very appreciated as a guest. C

Very accommodating hotel. Drew was exceptionally helpful at check in. We have stayed here many years in a row and it’s been a great experience every time. Great location, quiet area, clean rooms and breakfast area.
