Cons:

I was really disappointed with my stay at One Shot Colón. Before I had even arrived, I started receiving WhatsApp messages asking me to make payment for my booking. This happened twice and immediately made me question the security of my personal information. I contacted the hotel about it, but it was an unsettling experience.

Although I booked through Booking.com, I was also being asked to complete steps through the hotel’s website and received messages saying my booking would be cancelled if I didn’t respond. It created unnecessary stress before I had even checked in.

When I arrived, my room was extremely hot. The air conditioning was set to 18°C but took around an hour to cool the room down, which was particularly frustrating in the middle of summer. There were also no tissues in the room, the room phone didn’t work, meaning I had to keep going down to reception whenever I needed assistance, and the TV remote barely worked. The TV also didn’t have YouTube or any useful streaming options.

For the price, I expected much more. The room lacked basic amenities such as tissues, slippers and bathrobes, and overall it felt quite basic. The bed was also much softer than I would have liked and wasn’t particularly comfortable.

The hotel’s location is excellent and is honestly its biggest selling point. However, I found the staff to be quite unhelpful and not especially welcoming. It often felt like I was inconveniencing them whenever I asked for assistance.

Overall, I don’t feel the hotel offers good value for money. Aside from the central location, my experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. There are better hotels in Valencia for the price.

Hay que arreglar la puerta corredera automática de acceso al hotel.
Pros:

Muy bien ubicado para lo que me trajo a Valencia. El check-in fue muy rápido. La ducha moderna y con lluvia era de agradecer en un día tan caluroso.

Cons:

La puerta de acceso al hotel no funcionaba y había que abrirla a mano. El personal debería ayudar en vez de quedarse sentado dando instrucciones. Además, con tanto toqueteo del cristal tendrían que haber estado limpiandolo un poco más. El aire acondicionado de la zona de recepción funcionaba muy bien, mejor que el de las habitaciones.

Valencia è bella cittadina
Pros:

Non ho usufruito degli servizi. Un problema, per tutto il nostro soggiorno la porta scorrevole dell’ingresso si faceva fatica ad aprirlo che mi faceva male le mani. I ragazzi della sera, i receptionist, gentilissimi e professionali. Ottima posizione peccato che costava troppo per quello che offriva.

La porta dell’ingresso albergo—era rotta per tutto il soggiorno.
