A business stay which felt like a vacation
Pros:

The pleasant feel you get around the place. It is a very quaint decor. I used the pool and hot tub, great environment with comfortable chairs and sofas. The remodeled bathroom was also great. Walking distance to a delightful village.

Cons:

My wife was disappointed with the breakfast.
Nothing else.

We will visit again.
Pros:

It was a very comfortable hotel. Very pleasant staff and in a great location.

Cons:

The cleaners didn't do our room ona couple of occasions but it was possibly due to us being in and out on those mornings. They could have dusted the bedroom while we were there too.

Good option for a near to San Diego stay for a night
Pros:

Clean, well sized and nicely appointed room with balcony and ocean view in distance. Short walk into main area of very nice Del Mar and many restaurants, and to the beach and waterfront. Easy access to freeway to get to San Diego airport for a next day departure flight.

Cons:

Paying for parking separately in a suburban Best Western is a tad annoying. Soundproofing between rooms and in hallway not fantastic.

overnight stay on the way to Burbank
Pros:

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great little café on site.

Cons:

The double bed room was an extremely tight quarter. we were supposed to have a balcony. I am got a window with a platform that kind of took up a lot of space in the room.

They did give us a voucher for two meals from the café even though it wasn't included in our rate

Disappointed that they don't have an actual breakfast in our hotel. Seems like Best Western hotels are going that route

i'm not sure if this was Booking.com fault or the hotels description but it seemed like it was listed as a San Diego hotel or San Diego area hotel, and that's what I was really looking forward to and this was more exclusive and further north. So we didn't get to visit San Diego. We passed by coming in.

Convenient Location
Pros:

Location is great - walk to restaurant area or a few blocks from the beach. The pool area is comfortable and has towels. Felt the rooms were clean and bed was comfortbale.

Cons:

Rooms feel a bit small and you easily hear noise from the hall. The AC is a little tricky to use - be sure to read the instructions.

Staff was a bit flat and didnt seem like they wanted to be helping you.

Interestingly enough they sell wine in the lobby, but cant sell beer?

Awesome Place
Pros:

They were friendly and even gave us vouchers for a local restaurant. The location was amazing - so close to the beach without the high price. It was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

My only tiny little gripe was that there wasn't hand soap (like antibacterial)...there was only a facial bar.

Pros:

Once you unpack you don’t have to leave They have everything you need. Everything is walking distance to shops and beach access the ocean view was spectacular and the sunsets in bed were beautiful

They deceive you into thinking there’s beach access across the side walk. We walked about a mile and had no beach access. You could watch people walking on the beach. But that was it.
