Did not have breakfast
My noisy neighbors. A group of young men were making alot of noise . I asked them to tone down which they did. This could have resulted in a confrontation. Overall my stay was pleasant.

Service has always been one of the stronger aspects of this hotel.
Although this last time it was 15 minutes till 11, and the cleaning lady knocked a couple of times and came in...
Thankfully I had the towel on, but it was a little weak move to rush me that way.
The front desk often seems extremely busy, and while a smile may sometimes be hard to come by, after staying here so many times, I’ve gotten to know the staff well enough to know that there are genuinely good people working here who do care about the guests.
That said, someone staying for only one night might not necessarily come away with that same impression. A warmer and more welcoming approach at the front desk, even during busy periods, would make a noticeable difference in the overall guest experience.
I was also told that the property recently changed ownership. I can’t say whether that is directly responsible, but the timing seems to coincide with what I’ve personally noticed as a decline in the overall quality, cleanliness, and atmosphere of the hotel.
I continue returning because I know what this property has been capable of in the past, and the service itself has consistently been good. I simply hope the new ownership gives the property, its cleanliness, and the overall guest experience the attention they deserve.
I’ve stayed at the Sonesta Boca Raton many times over the last few years and have always considered it a reliable place to stay.
Unfortunately, during my more recent visits, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the property's overall atmosphere and condition.
The guest environment has changed considerably, and at times the hotel feels more like it is accommodating long-term transient guests moving from hotel to hotel rather than maintaining the standard I remember.
I was actually staying at the property throughout much of the renovation last year and saw the carpets being replaced. It’s surprising that they already look so worn and dirty. At this point, they either need a thorough professional cleaning or, in some areas, may need to be replaced again.
As a frequent returning guest, it’s disappointing to see the property decline so quickly after the renovation. I hope management takes a serious look at the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience, because I know this hotel can be much better.
